Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked to order and served well
I'd prefer duvets rather than blankets on the beds

Lovely room, comfortable bed, helpful staff. Great place for golfers.
The spa bath did not work and it was a bit out of the way.

The cosiness of the lodge is so peaceful. The welcoming was warm too. They literally couldn't have done more for me. Thank you 🙏
Maybe I would have liked a mat on the wooden bedroom floor, I'm being very picky with saying that!

Not staying longer!
Booked as an overnight as part of a travelling holiday but would be tempted to stay longer next time!

Very comfortable and friendly property adjacent to the Ballybunion Golf Course. We stopped for the night during our tour of the Wild Atlantic Coast and we were very pleased to be upgraded to a suite. We had a splendid dinner at the nearby Strollers Bistro. Best meal of our entire trip.

James and Mary did everything possible to make my stay there memorable. Not only was breakfast delicious, it was filling and there were a variety of choices. I feel fortunate to have chosen their home. Lovely people.
Nothing I would improve on.

Fabulous from the minute drove in the gate The moment we stepped out of the car we got a warm and friendly welcome from Mary and once we stepped inside we were. greeted by James you will find it hard to find a more helpful and polite couple everything here is fabulous we travelled for the night for our 20th wedding anniversary and James showed us to our room the Tom Watson Suite unreal beautifully decorated spotless faboulas views from every corner and the place is so cosy as for our hosts above and beyond is an understatement Mary managed to get us a table in a beautiful restaurant which happened to be very busy on the night but thanks to Mary we were treated like VIPs when we got back to our room they had left chocolates and wine for us for our anniversary the extra touches in this place are to many to mention as for the breakfast we have stayed in many four and five star hotels over the years for our anniversary and this was definitely the best breakfast I can truly say we have had Quality of food selection freshness and service unbelievable best fruit salad I have ever had at breakfast and beautiful presentation of everything the quality of the food from the smoked salmon to the croissants this is definitely the most memorable stay we have had we were truly made feel like we were at home if home could ever feel this good thank you so much Mary and James for your kindness and the fond memories of our anniversary that we will have for ever and also for yer extremely hard work to keep the place running at such high standards which you both manage to make look so effortless and natural but we know there is so much work thought and commitment to achieve such amazing standards cant wait to visit again and we cant thank you enough claire and michael o brien

The couple that run this place are the best. They are such lovely people and can not do enough for you. They made us feel so welcome and made a lovely fuss that it was our Honeymoon. Proper old school Irish hospitality. The breakfast was fantastic!!! The bed was super comfortable and shower was so fantastic, insane pressure...I'd do as far to say the best bed and shower in a hotel/accommodation ever! It was the prefect place to unwind after our Wedding. Will always stay here when back in Ballybunnion.

The hosts Mary and James were most welcoming and friendly. Upgraded our accommodation free of charge. All facilities top class. The room no 7 is spacious, bright and airy. Tea and coffee facility with a variety of biscuits. V comfortable bed, with ‘real’ bedding and pillows. Jacuzzi bath and power shower. Heated floor.
Breakfast was delicious with a fantastic menu, served in a bright, nicely decorated dining room. And the hosts! Did I mention them already 👌👏👏👏👏👏.
This is the type of property and welcome that will have guests return again and again.
Absolutely nothing. We’ll be back!

This was an exceptional experience. From check in with our host Mary to check-out all our needs were catered for. The massive bedrooms, the beautiful breakfast , the exceptional decor , the friendliness and attention to detail of Mary and her husband. Mary had booked a meal at the nearby Strollers Bistro in advance of our arrival and it was exceptional. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Ballybunion
can't think of anything really
