A beautiful location with a tremendous view. The space was huge and comfortable. Wine from the estate is available for purchase.
There are no dining facilities and the nearest restaurants require a Bolt or Uber ride.

a little bit away from town center, but has very good view over the valley and skyline. It has old style and huge rooms, providing breakfast, we had bread, cookies, coffee, milk, juice, cereal, butter, fruit jam and cream cheese. we all loved the breakfast. bedding a little old but clean, better use softer for towels.
blanket a little bit old, towels are hard, better use softer when washing the towels.

This place is a dream. Beautiful! The pool is epic. The wine from the vineyard is delicious. I consider staying here a very special thing.

My husband and I were walking the Camino Portuguese. This place was a tiny bit off the Camino. This place looked fabulous and IT WAS!! This is huge family owned vineyard estate. My husband met one of the owners, an elderly gentleman, who said his family has lived in the Anha valley since the year 1005!!! The property was gorgeous. Even after walking the Camino all day, I walked around the property to enjoy the gardens. I loved the 2 bedroom apt we rented. So cozy. We sat outside at our stone picnic table and enjoyed the view of the valley and shared a bottle of their wine. Their wine was a beautiful Vinho Verde- probably the best Vinho Verde we had the whole trip!! I would highly recommend a night here. Wait until you see the entrance gates, you know you are headed into a special place.
I was a bit disappointed that the pool wasn't open when were there in late April. I didn't want to swim, but I would have loved to hang out poolside and soaked my weary feet! Otherwise no complaints!

The property was beautiful. We had a two bedroom apartment which was very nice. The kitchen was stocked with milk, cereal, juice, butter and jam and cookies and a bottle of wine. They bought bread to us in the morning which was a pot of hot coffee and fresh bread. We should have planned ahead and bought food to cook dinner in town before we walked up here. There was a nice stone table outside our door where we drank our wine in the afternoon sun.

The property is exceptional. The appartment is spacious and sparkling clean, with well equipped kitchen and a breakfast and well needed coffee. It has beautiful period furniture and a fire place. Terrace with a splendid view. It is surrounded by gardens to walk in. My only regret is that we spent just one night there.
The ocean is in a short drive, so is the city.

Everything! Especially the owners & their dogs! It was very peaceful there with lots of beautiful flowers
Only that it was difficult to purchase food & no grocery store nearby

Magical place! Very nice hosts. Great views and calm location. Fine breakfast.
Everything was good. Maybe the only thing is that the swimming pool was a bit dirty when we were there.

If you really want to enjoy a portuguese authentic countryside estate this is the perfect place!
When you arrive here you feel yourself in a paradise far from the noisy cities - just vineyards, silence and peace!
I also loved the room furnitured in a real authentic way. This place is not a boring average modern hotel, here you get the the real beautiful Portugal!
This place is a perfect startpoint to discover North Portugal (Viana do Castello, Braga, Guimaraes, Porto) by car.
Wifi - but honestly i didn't really want to use internet in a fantastic place like this
Breakfast - do not expect too much, but it's okay.

This location is a dream. Set in a large vineyard, this monumental Quinta is a gem. Nicest people. Beautiful nature. And a simple but nice breakfast brought to you at your -extremely spacious- apartment. The location is perfect. Super close to the Viano do Castelo (Cabedelo) beach it provided us with a peaceful stay. Highly recommended!
The beds are fine, but can be better. We had 2 single beds as a couple. It would be good to have 1 double bed in an apartment with 2 bedrooms. Would this for us be a reason not to return? Not at all. We loved this place.

Due to covid the simpele portuguese breakfast was brought to the door. The beds weren’t very comfortable but the estate’s atmosphere served as sufficiënt compensation.
