The hotel is more beautiful than in the pictures, everything is perfect. The rooms are beautiful in the same way, a huge bed, very comfortable, and a big shower as well.
Just to find a tiny fault..it’s not super centrally positioned.

The interior was beautiful and charming. I believe it is the quietest place I have ever stayed in Mexico as well. The staff were all very warm and helpful. The location is great and the parking lot is secured and immediately next door to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay.
The internet was poor. The beds were firmer than I like but some members of our group liked the firmness.

Beautiful hotel with lots of intricate decorations, greenery and paintings. The rooms were also very well-designed, the bed was very comfortable, and overall everything was very clean. The hotel has ample private parking as well.
Hot water did not work well in my room's shower. In the sink it was fine, but in the shower it did not really turn hot until I had let it run for at least 5 minutes (was told by reception to let the hot water run for a bit as it was a old building, which is fine), but then it lasted maybe another 3 minutes before it went cold again. But the other room's shower was apparently fine, so might be a one-off problem.

The property is lovely and relaxing, with a beautiful courtyard filled with plants. The rooms are quiet and dark at night, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. Thick blankets, a space heater, and a hot shower were available to keep us warm in this cool, high elevation town. The location is perfect, a few blocks from the main square. Free parking was available onsite. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Loved it!

Excellent location, 2 blocks to the main square and 3 blocks from the 2nd square which is where you catch the collectivo’s. Restaurant’s are all right there. It couldn’t have been better. At the end of the day the Hotel was a beautiful place the retreat to and catch a few quiet restive moments before going out for the evening. We parked the car in the hotel parking area and walked or caught a collectivo’s to where ever we went, in town sights, the lake, Quiroga, Ihuatzia, Tzintzuntzan. Simply awesome!

This is a beautiful old hotel in the colonial style. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to get us parked in their secure lot and help with wifi.Fresh flowers in the room every day were a nice touch. Easy walk to the central square and artisan district. Clean comfortable quiet and peaceful.
Hard to criticize anything.
A tip for drivers. The hotel is on a one way street (dont trust google maps!)their off street parking area which is behind a locked gate is just before you get to reception.Pull over and check in to avoid going all around town again!

The property was very clean. I love all the greenery- it is so well kept. They make the place so beautiful.

The room was comfortable, the staff very nice. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful in the morning light. Location was exactly what we wanted.
The light in front of our room was burned out. After dark we needed to use our cellphone flashlight to see the keyhole. This was corrected on the second day. Neither bedside light was plugged in, we had to move the heavy bed to connect them to electricity. The shower leaked out the door. Reliable Wi-fi was only available in one location in the courtyard.

secure off street parking
our room 17 was not at all comfortable. small very unpleasant bathroom the shower I tried to use once no hot water and the floor flooded. the young women who checked us in was a poor representative of hospitality. I tried to tell her in Spanish that I didn’t like my room. she with a blank expression said I don’t speak English. we didn’t like most everything.

Staff was friendly , nothing else to say, parking was secure.
Restaurant was suppose to be on site but not 4 blocks walk not good for clients that are in their 80's
Rooms needed to be repainted . And renovations done .
Had to ask for a drinking glass non in the room
Bathroom was small and no catch on the shower door so could not shower in the morning water all over the floor.
Price per night was high and standards were lacking

Cute charming hotel. Gives you the charm of the city and is located 2 blocks away from downtown which makes it a great location. Small hotel that gives you enough privacy to truly feel peaceful.
Wi-fi was not great and as tourists from out of the country we rely on internet to stay in touch and communicate. Would like a stronger signal to not have to worry about it.

historical and cultural aspects of this lovely hotel. In addition, we really appreciated secure parking and the central location. The inner courtyard is very well-maintained and beautiful.
