Tranquility in Central Pátzcuaro

The location is great as it's within walking distance of the centre but far enough that there's peace and quiet. The breakfast is very tasty and the garden where guests eat is tranquil.

I liked everything about this place and will recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Pátzcuaro.

Beautiful. Great location.

It’s not the property itself. It’s simply how people are - noisy neighbors on Saturday night. Also, some guests ‘take over’ and act like they are the only ones here.

A wonderful, historic, peaceful garden retreat!

A wonderful, historic, peaceful garden retreat! Great rooms, excellent breakfast, easy street parking.

Breakfast not served until 9am. maybe coffee available earlier? Otherwise all good!

Exceptional

Everything was excellent. Its about 4 minutes from centro but is an easy walk. The staff was great and the hotel is superb for the cost. I would definitely stay in Yolihuani again and again

Beautiful, clean and spacious

Wonderful spacious and clean property near the main plaza. Eric and Vicky have developed this property and are delightful hosts. The property attracts many interesting guests and the morning conversation, if desired, can be very enjoyable. The breakfast is outstanding

Perfect place to stay, tastefully done, comfortable beds, nice staff❤️🧡

great location. close to the plaza, restaurants, and shops. A quiet peaceful oasis in the city. lovely gardens and Mexican artful rooms. Staff were very helpful and made our stay comfortable. we would cone again!

Lovely place but poor WIFI.

Breakfast was great. Good coffee 2 out of 3 mornings. Nice options like the pastry, fruit and main dish. Lovely garden and interior courtyard. Very helpful staff.

The WIFI was terrible. We were in a lower floor room at the back, which may have been the problem. Most of the time it was terribly slow or non-existant. Someone pointed out at that "Hey, you're in Mexico". That was not the problem, since the burger place next door had fine WIFI. This is a major thing for me. Next time we may have to stay somewhere else for this reason.

Exceptional

The whole atmosphere of this Posada is about gracious relaxation. The building itself is a wonderful showing of local architecture. Lovely garden and pond areas. Well thought through touches of lovely local crafts. The breakfast is tasty and nutritious, served with a smile.

Parking is on the street but quite secure.

Super friendly staff. Beautiful gardens. Breakfast was wonderful on a terrace just outside our room Highly recommended. Shower was high pressure & hot water abundant.

Parking was a few blocks away but was included in the price- no biggie.

Beautiful property in Pátzcuaro

Breakfast is great! Fresh fruit with yogurt, pastries, eggs, and lots of coffee. Everyone is very friendly and the property is beautiful, with an inside garden. The location is very good, as well. A 5 minute walk to the main plaza.

The pillows in our room were very hard, and a few extra pillows would have been nice, too. I have stayed in this property before and that time the room we had was amazing, this time we got a smaller, darker room. Not bad, but also not as comfortable as the other one.

We were delighted and appreciative of all the details about Posada Yolihuani. We will stay again!

We were served a delicious breakfast starting with coffee and hot milk and Mexican pastries. Followed by fruit of the season and yogurt. Included fresh juice followed by a hot dish of chilaquiles or a simple cheesy omelet topped with spinach sauce.

Everything about our stay was top notch. There was nothing we didn’t like about this stay.

Lovely premises, great coffee, walking distance to everything you want, peace and quiet at night.

The man who owns it was charming. Likewise, his nephew and male caretaker both of whom were very helpful. Great coffee. Lovely premises. Far enough away from Centro for a peaceful night but close enough for easy walking access.

The bed was too hard for me.

It was a quiet hotel, and very cozy. Staff is really nice and helpful. Very close to downtown.

Coffee is not very good, I suggest a stronger coffee ;-) Other than that excellent!

Perfectly refreshing place to stay!

Great place

Super close to the plaza, restaurants, and all there is to do in Patzcuaro! Very quiet and charming place. Would stay there again for sure.

Highly recommended. Would return to this place.

Excellent location: yet quiet and beautifully built and restored, with impeccable details, high water pressure, absolutely clean , family run by a very nice family. Very good breakfasts.

Highly recommend Posada Yolihuani!

Breakfasts were good and varied each day. Each included juice, coffee, fruit with yogurt, and a dish of eggs, chilaciles, quesadilla. All were excellent. Eric is an excellent host! He provided information and set us up with an English speaking driver. We spent two days with the driver and learned so much about the region!

It would be nice to add anther bench or suitcase rack as it was a bit difficult to manage to manage both of our suitcases.
