Proximity for our needs
Bit dated, no microwave
4.0 / 5.0
I liked almost everything
What I did not like was the lack of a toaster and microwave

Staff and meals were excellent
No shampoo or conditioner or soap supplied - the stairs to get to the room are terrifying

Only 10 or so minutes from the airport in the evening. Shops within walking distance (actually next door!). I had Room 3.
It was a nice, sizable room with big windows/doors out on to the balcony. View wasn't necessarily amazing (back of the property & overlooking the rear carpark) but it was quite private and the size of the windows allowed in a lot of light during the day and breezes. Staff member at reception was lovely to deal with.
Very creaky floor. And it wasn't just one spot - and believe me, I checked - but it was everywhere, so there was no avoiding it. I'm a night-owl, so I felt very sorry for my neighbours. If I was the only one there, I wouldn't have cared. Also, box of tissues in the room would have been handy but fortunately, there's an Aldi next door, so problem solved.

I originally booked a property which was a short walk from the airport. However I was moved to the Findon Pub which was annoying for obvious reasons. However the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly too.
I didn’t like booking one place only to end up at another place a significant distance away.

It was a very quick layover stay so I grabbed a free drink and went to bed! Basic but everything I needed. Staff were lovely and helped with my bags!
Location vibe wasn’t to my taste but it did the trick for my layover. Pokies rooms below the rooms and it didn’t feel super open and friendly. Staff were nice though.

Noisey all night, slamming doors. Could hear other people talking etc all night. Difficult to sleep.

Location
The room's
Had issues with the TV.
Tryed to use the kettle and was filled with sand and rocks.
Bed had dirt on it.
The pole in the bathroom was rusted.
And there is no microwave in the room so you can't even heat a meal up.
4.0 / 5.0
The bed was comfy.
Could have used a hair dryer, more towels and some tissues.
2.5 / 5.0
The location is good for groceries, fast food and the Airport.
Nothing much else positive.
This accommodation can compete with random cheap motels on deserted locations, not in a city. Not good enough.
There are no lifts to go up, the rooms are old and the shower/wc room was really poor and ugly. The parking lot outside is free but the staff suggested to park the car near the security camera.
Just not a great stay.
3.5 / 5.0
Bed was comfortable. Staff in the hotel bistro were very friendly. Short walk to shops and good coffee shop.
Not a lot of sound proofness between the room and the stairs. This was a very basic studio room ie no little extras. Would have expected a bit more for the price. I had to go to Aldi next door to buy a hair dryer as there wasn't one in the room.
