Location was ideal and plenty parking.
1st room was freezing so was changed to a warmer room. The overall decor was tired and in need of repair and upgrade.

The hotel room, facilities and comfort are superb and the staff are absolutely fantastic.
The restaurant is top notch with breakfasts and dinner served in an elegant dining room by friendly and helpful staff.
Fantastic location in town near to all amenities but quiet at night.

The breakfast was very good and hot it was no problem to request a selection from the full breakfast. The staff was very friendly and always had a smile.

Nice modern hotel with spacious room - we stayed in one of the coach house rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good choice for breakfast.

Food excellent, and location was good with no traffic noise
Nothing, everything was 1st class

The well trained staff were exceptional with positive and spontaneous interactions with guests, anticipating guest needs and being dynamic and helpful.
The breakfast was better than most hotel fair with bespoke cooked plates. And the black pudding was the best I have had in years. The Hotel coffee too.
A great experience
I was in the coachhouse and the ceilings tapered down with lower windows. After 24 I did not notice this but if felt strange for the first evening.

Loved the location in town, the room size is good, the bar and restaurant areas are also comfortable. Spot less bedding always a positive.
The room was tired, the wallpaper was starting to lift at the seams, cobwebs behind the radiator-the curtains drag across the top of it, I didn't go looking!! Some of the higher areas, dust on top of the units and along the edges of the carpets. The towels were fraying around the edges and the toweling gown although clean was well used. Some of the management were not the most approachable, perhaps they were stressed but they they came across as being grumpy and snappy. There seemed to be plenty of staff but they were not working as a team.

temperature in room higher than we needed, opened window but wind got up and rattled it during the night!!
Duvet more winter weight, lighter option would have been good

No complaints. A little expensive but a lovely treat.

Excellent
Good choice
Well presented.
Our room was a little too warm.
It also overlooked a main road.
Happily the road wasn't very busy.

Food was good. Staff helpful
The room was incredibly warm and despite leaving the windows open and it being a cool night it was virtually impossible to sleep. Worst night's sleep in a hotel in years.
