The Pines was a real highlight of our Scotland Tour.
We had not intended to stay inland away from the coast but could not find a place available, so we booked the Pines, what a wonderful fated stay we had, AMAZING
There is nothing to list, it was PERFECT

Very comfortable, warm and relaxed. Good local location and fine breakfast. Very good value as travelled for work.
There is a Pod tea/coffee facility in the room. I would prefer an ordinary kettle and tea / coffee.

A beautiful old house well converted to B&B use, run by a couple who were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great with homemade bread for toast and lots of choice.
All good.

A stunning property and a lovely place to stay. A warm welcome from the off and presented with a cosy, well furnished, on suite room, we couldn't have hoped for a better stop off on our trip further North. Parking is limited but free, which is always a bonus. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, with a good choice. Location to the town centre is good and we had a lovely walk along the river, passing the Catherdal ruins into town in about 15 minutes. The hosts, Lyn and Lee were an absolute pleasure, thank you both for a very pleasant stay.
Nothing, all good!

A little difficult to find at night, also parking spots are a bit confusing.

Beautiful old house, spacious room, great breakfast and large and quiet lounge room we could use to read a book (or watch television). Friendly and hospitable couplet that run the place. Attention for sustainability (electricity, towels, etc.). Best stay during our three weeks trip in Scotland.

Lovely period property that has been restored to a high standard, owners were welcoming and friendly. Room was well appointed with nice en-suite facility. Lovely breakfast in the morning with a good selection to choose from. Additionally, the property is close enough to walk into town for evening meal.

The host was very welcoming. The breakfast was great
Water pressure was poor..Would preferred a kettle to hot drinks machine to make tea. Duvet was rather heavy. Prefer white bedlinen and towels

Location was good and close to the town centre. The guest house was very comfortable and family run; hospitality warm and friendly. The room was spacious, very comfortable and considering it is not a new building there was no sound transmission between rooms or other spaces. Great dining room and residents lounge with comfortable furniture. Breakfast very tasty and lots of it served by the host. Oh did I mention the four poster bed? - really comfortable. Lyn the hostess also helped out by taking care of some laundry at little cost.
Can’t say there was much we didn’t like.

Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. The bed was comfortable with good linens and everything I needed was provided. I received a very warm welcome from my hosts and the accommodation is beautiful inside. I couldn't fault any of it.
There isn't anything else they could have done for me.

The hosts were really kind and the room was so comfortable to stay in that we ended up staying an extra night!
Parking easy enough as long as there aren't alot of guests, but can see it being difficult if more than a couple of cars.

Spacious family room with lovely furnishings. Lovely atmosphere at the property. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.
The heating was a little cool overnight and first thing in the morning…but understand the cost of heating at the moment in the UK is very high.

Beautiful town house set in large garden. very tastefully decorated.
It was a wee bit chilly when we arrived - but it was -3 outside! However soon warmed up and was very cosy.
