Nice friendly atmosphere, pleasant and helpful staff.
Excellent breakfast, with plenty of choice.
Very clean, with comfortable bed.
Bathroom could have been a little larger, but did the job.

Lovely hotel and great location, we didn’t spend much time there but what we did was great but what stood out was the staff all were fabulous with my little boy but Dan went above and beyond and my son gave him a 10 out of 5 and insisted he needed to tip him. Restaurant was lovely we only had dinner 1 night and small breakfasts (I don’t really do breakfast) but nothing was a hassle and the cocktails were lovely to.
The shower was the only down side being electric but also temperamental but that’s just a small blip, I wouldn’t think twice about booking here again
6.0
Useful location, friendly staff, tea-making facilities
A bit dated. Shower was poor. Didn’t like the sink in bedroom. It needed to be in en-suite.
8.0
Location and friendly staff. Clean and nice breakfast
Our room was beside the main road so very noisy.

Great place , relaxing atmosphere with great staff
Not busy enough for bar to be open later so went to the Mansfield for a whisky

The room was very comfortable & the bathroom was fine, the decor was very good

Excellent breakfast and staff. Less than 10 minute walk to the town centre.
All good - maybe a more powerful shower but that's just my preference.

Nothing
Grossly over priced. I have been in many B&B rooms much bigger with better facilities and more sensibly priced
The room was small located by the side of the hotel with a door ( no window) leading directly on to the car park
I had noise coming from there and above and both sides of the room.
For over £100 for 1 night this really was unacceptable..
9.0
A comfortable bed, the room was equipped with tea/coffee etc, hairdryer and bible provided, good soft towels and adequate toiletries. Breakfast was excellent, as were the two evening meals we had. Service was superb.
It would have been nice if the room had been a bit bigger - but that 's an observation more a complaint.

Staff were very attentive to our special requirements, both evening meal & breakfast were excellent. The room as spacious and extremely comfortable.
Car park was very busy.
8.0
Friendly and attentive staff, excellent food (best breakfast), smart tv in room so I was able to watch sky sports with my log in, location, value for money, very clean
The kettle in my room (20) was covered in limescale. The bed wasn’t overly comfortable with the gap going straight down the middle. Wasn’t particularly warm with the only radiator being at the window and to warm the room at night I had to tuck the curtains in behind the radiator.

Very good central location in Elgin with a decent sized car park. Staff were very nice during checking and breakfast.
Room was a good size and stocked well with tea, coffee and biscuits. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was basic but good.
Upon arrival, the room was rather chilly but did heat up but that is the only thing.

A family run hotel with staff who really looked after guests. Great range of whiskey and the food was excellent.
Scrambled eggs at breakfast were overcooked - but the full Scottish was really excellent

Excellent accommodation. We were there as we had an evening business meeting - there was a chance that we would be back from meeting too late for dinner. Hotel suggested that - if so - we order from the menu and they would provide the meal when we arrived back. Really accommodating and food was excellent!

All my special requests were meet excellent
Nothing could have been better

location excellent and spotlessly clean. staff excellent. above and beyond
Paid for upgraded room but is seemed a standard double. it was freezing cold and staff had to bleed radiators and bring heaters. Toilet was slow flush so could only use every 5-10 minutes

Nice central location with ample parking. The rooms were clean and functional with tea and coffee facilities included. The bed was comfortable which was a real bonus.
No complaints. It was exactly as I'd expected and, in my case, provided a pleasant stay for one night (or more).

we liked the size of our bedroom and the food was very good
There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

Room and dinner were good and probably exceeded expectations.
The room was lovely but it was hot weather and the duvet was winter weight. I would have expected some attention to this detail with more suitable bed linen. I hardly slept as far too hot. I opened windows but I could hear traffic all night.

The location of sunninghill to the town centre, our evening meal was excellent

the rooms were very clean with good facilities. the food was excellent.
The vegetarian menu was not offered to us so my mother had to have fish (which she does eat and enjoy) however it was only when she questioned what they do if a vegetarian stays, that they said they had a dedicated vegetarian menu!
The vegetarian menu is so good that I also chose to have something off it on our last night (despite not being a vegetarian).
I think it should automatically be handed out with the main menu as a matter of course, or just combine them both into one menu.
It is such a shame to have such an amazing menu that most people don’t even know exists.

The hotel is centrally located, very clean and comfortable. The staff were all lovely and the service was excellent.
I was in a chalet with access outside of the main hotel which was fine, the room was comfortable and very clean, the only downside was that the only window was above the door and the room was very warm.

On first impression, I was worried it was a bit "tired", but the rooms were delightful - very recent upgrade to bathroom in particular. Staff, without exception, were focused on making sure guests were satisfied and did their best to accomadate any requests. Restaurant was very reasonably priced and very good food. Bar was a pleasant surprise - staff there was very friendly and Alistair in particular made the evenings a special delight. Can't thank him (or rest of the staff) enough! :)
it was fine though a bit of a walk from "downtown", not so far it was undoable so certainly worth staying at this property.

Breakfast was absolutely lovely. The cooked breakfast menu had fabulous choices which I liked as never have everything on the full English, so very happy and quality of bacon, sausage and egg very good. The croissants were dry so a little disappointed in them. Staff are lovely and very attentive, friendly. I had dinner in the restaurant that evening, quite busy and a great vibe. food menu had interesting choices and I was very pleased with my order. I was given a room in the brand new annex, it was downstairs and a disabled bathroom wide door, large spacious room. Bed and bedding super comfortable. large TV on the wall and the wifi was great, no problems completing my work. I would recommend.
Parking area can get full and then need to find on street parking. Manager Alistair was fantastic and had said he had a space I could get parked in next to hotel but I had already tried 3 times ( the first few times a bus had taken up a lot of parking and then Manager had it moved) by time I got back to parking other cars had grabbed the spaces. Left me annoyed as had been up really early to drive up to Inverness and a long day working so just wanted to park and get into room. That said the Manager was fantastic and it was my bad I did not wait for him to show me the parking space.
