Service, rommet og beliggenhet. En ferie i seg selv!
Ingenting!

Views from the room (junior suite) were very good.
Breakfast Buffet was excellent.
It always took a ridiculously long time to get the bill for breakfast!
They tried to add an extra GBP250 of additional gratuities to my bill, even though I had tipped everyone handsomely during our stay - thankfully this was discretionary, but somewhat cheeky of them, I felt.

Bed was really comfortable
There was only one member of staff on the check-in who was dealing with a customer. We waited quite some time until another member of staff who I assume was security went into the back and got a member of staff to come out and check us in. Pool and sauna was out of service which was really disappointing, I think we should have been notified and given the option to book another hotel. One of the windows in the bedroom had dirty hand prints on the glass and there was hair in the bath tub.

The staff were friendly. I was given an complimentary upgrade and my room was ready early too. The room faced towards the river and had an amazing view with plenty of space in the room too. The room was spotlessly clean and well serviced throughout the day.
Room service was on point without any delays.
I had a fantastic stay and an experience I will never forget.

the property is beautiful that is why we have returned for a third visit .
lack of priority for guest staying at the hotel . having to book a table to have a drink .To be told that people who have booked packages get priority for better view tables that are not staying at the hotel but yet we have paid upfront for a weekend stay .
Buffet hot breakfast disappointing a la carte breakfast very expensive.

Spacious, comfortable room with the amazing view that was expected. Paid extra for a bath with a view and it was well worth it even if it was probably the most expensive bath I've ever taken! Loved the swimming pool and sauna, both have absolutely spectacular views. The staff were all lovely and very professional. I mentioned that I only drink rooibos tea and a whole pack was placed in my room during the turn down service on my first night. I booked a massage and it was incredible! I would definitely stay again.
Very small attention to detail, for example in my room it was not possible to find a plug for my curling iron that had somewhere safe that I could rest it and a mirror nearby for me to be able to see what I was doing. The glass top on the unit where the TV was placed was loose so it could move quite easily which was a little concerning. My suitepad initially worked fine, then for some reason just stopped working, but as I didn't really need it, I didn't feel it was worth mentioning at the time. The swimming pool temperature was a little too cold at first. The slippers seem to be made for people with quite small and narrow feet.

It’s just a rip off and the worst location in London.

Le seul point positif de cet hotel fut les concierges qui ont su répondre a toutes mes attentes.
I myself took care to choose this hotel which according to the reviews seemed incredible...
What was my surprise and disappointment with the Shagri-La in London. This hotel is clearly over-rated. I don't know where this hotel got its reputation but it's far from being a 5 star hotel!
My list is long, but I hope it will be helpful to people like me who expect decent service!
The door of my room was damaged, 2 telephones out of 3 in my room did not work and were not changed, the shutters did not go all the way down letting the light through. A room service eager, 1h30 of waiting and a telephone reminder for a simple fruit salad. I had asked to have my room cleaned while I was having breakfast, it was not done. I asked to use the SPA for an hour on my last day, without success... The hot water in my bathroom took forever to get hot. Maids tried to enter my room while I was busy and did not want to be disturbed. I don't know how this hotel treats its guests.
I was also charged twice the amount of the room on my credit card, that is to say almost 7000 USD, without having been informed beforehand, and especially since I had paid the total amount and the deposit beforehand the day of my arrival.
The catering is simply old-school, tasteless and needs to be reviewed. I ordered eggs Benedict's with salmon and they brought me back eggs Benedict's with ham...
A FLOP from A to Z. I will never repeat my experience at Shangri-La. I strongly advise against it for people who expect a service at the level of a 5 stars hotel. It is not worth more than a simple and random 3 stars.
Oh yes I forget after all these mistakes, and my complain they didnt charge the fruit salad that I ask... Such a gesture !!!!!

it was a little too hot at times and no pillow menu
