Jederzeit gerne wieder😍

Good location. Really spacious cabana with welcoming owners and comfortable beds. Loved the sense of being close to the jungle

Had the best time at Casita Rolando. Great location and the hosts are so friendly and helpful. The little bungalow is perfect if you want to cook something and also includes a fridge. Highly recommend Casita Rolando

Super friendly staff. Fully equipped rooms and a safe area to smoke.
Pillows were wore out, no drinking water provided and no dish towels given for the kitchen. Also limited parking on a small street.

Great little cabin surrounded by greenery. Rolando was very welcoming and we had everything we needed to spend a week comfortably there. There's a mosquito net on one of the bedroom windows, and fans in both rooms, so air can flow nicely. Perfect for two people sleeping separately, as the bathroom separates both bedrooms and allows for more privacy.
It's a wooden cabin, so there are entry points for little mice to come in at night and search for food: don't leave any lying around!

Nice location and feel to the place. The host was really friendly. Secure parking for our motorbikes.
When we arrived there was a discussion about the price. I booked the 2 bedroom flat for $40 but was charged $60 because, I was told, there were 2 of us. On the booking.com website booking the place for 1 person or 2 persons does not alter the price.

all the staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming. we were able to eat the fruit on property and learn so much about the local culture during our stay. the villa was spacious and comfortable. i would gladly come back in the near future to play with the hostel dog, benji, and eat the delicious fruta de pan again. also loved how close to the center it was but far enough to have a quiet night to rest

Cesar was really nice and helpful whenever we needed anything. Had a couple small issues but everything was fixed quickly. Kitchen was well-equipped for basic cooking. A bit at the edge of town, but still just 2-3 minutes to the main street a few more to the bus stop & just 8-10 to the really nice Playa Negra beach. Terrace area outside was really nice with hammock and some space for hanging wet stuff.
Mattresses were quite uncomfortable. There were a lot of bugs (to be expected a bit in this type of place), but the mosquito net around our bed had some holes, as did many of the screens in the cabana. The other bedroom didn't have any nets for the beds, and the windows did not have screens either. We got bit quite a lot during our stay. Kitchen stuff was quite old and worn down, knives dull.

Really nice welcome and dry comfortable beds. Hot water and electric, even had a bottle.opener for the price that's a great deal in Costa Rica. Very hidden like an oasis.
The neighbours in the building next door very noisy, shame as obviously out of controle for Rolando as not on his property

The owner was kind and helpful, This cabin was too close to the beach and restaurants, what else do you need if you are in the Caribbean
