Not a bad walk to the historic city centre and the sights.
Hairs in the shower and all over the bathroom floor. Cigarette burns in the bedding, grey sheets (white, once upon a time). Dirt and paint stains on the bedding. Overall a lack of cleaning (witnessed by the same dead cockroach on the stairs for the duration of our stay).

Nice place. Nice people.

It was really close by the city centre.
The bed a chair, the sink and the shower were dirty upon arrival. For example: long hairs and mascara marks were found on the bed. In the shower there were a lot of long hairs, this goes the same for the sink. Due note that there is no airco and only a ventilator on the ceiling. I stayed one night and looked for another hotel to go to the next day. Early morning inside the hotel it was very noisy because of laughter (hard). Don’t know if it were people from the hotel or not.

Top location in Centro Historico close to Garibaldi Plaza, fantastic value for money!
10.0 / 10.0
The price is amazing for what you get, the location is perfect, the staff is nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable, blackout curtains, housekeeping everyday. TV with local channels. Even though is very close to Plaza Garibaldi, the hotel is very quiet at night. Felt safe walking in the area at anytime. They can help you arrange a taxi to the airport at checkout.
Just extra info: Rooms with street view are better but since 7am there is noise, I wasn't bother but in case you like to sleep in, might consider getting one on the back of the building. Rooms are small but enough space for two Also wifi comes and goes, but it worked fine for what I needed it. You leave the key in reception when going out. And just in case they don't have enough, take your own towel.
Booked 4 nights stayed 12.
No shower curtain so everything gets wet and no shower mat to dry feet. But the floors dry quickly.
Our bed sheets were not clean or at least they looked and smelled like someone already slept there, but we were given clean ones a few hours later, understandable since we arrived very late.
These are just things I think can improve but I was able to have a good stay:
Latest check-in is at 6pm (although the front desk is 24hr) but I'm very grateful the staff was so nice and waited for me because my flight got delayed for hours.
I wasn't able to manage the shower it was either cold or boiling, if you use too much water pressure on the cold, you will only get boiling water after a few seconds, asked for help but was told not to open it too much to prevent getting only hot water, no big deal for us though.

I arrived at night and the receptionist told me if I don’t pay by cash he will not give me room. it was impossible pay by card and he didn’t accept dollars. he was super rude. I had reservation for 4 night and I told that I will pay by cash in the morning. he said is impossible that I need to pay now. after one hour of “discussion” I paid for one night in dollars. room was dirty, sheets had blood and hairs. Internet was working bad. and was super loud. in the bathroom in the morning were bugs.

Nothing I am affraid
Extremaly dirty! There were black hair all over the room especially on the bed. We informed the reception and they were supposed to clean while we were out. They removed hair from the bed but thats all.
We stayed in many places in Mexico but this was the worst one.
Very loud inside the hotel, people sitting on corridors at 2.am speaking loud and nobody from reception ask them to go back to room or go to bar or whatever.
Girls at the reception didnt speak english at all. We had to go 3 times to ask about towels and blanket, despite they promised to provide it before we come back from the city we had to go again and ask for it, the girl which was at the reception didnt know anything about it.
No ventilation in the room and bathroom, very steamy and humid after the shower.

Comfortable bed, easy reach to the main markets and the mariachi plaza.
The room did not have towels or soap/shower gel

The price, but you get what you pay for.
The room was extremely small. The shower, if you can call it that, was just the area next to the toilet with a drain in the floor. The TV didn't work. The desk attendant tried to double charge me (though I'll take part of the blame for that as I wasn't able to explain clearly due to the language barrier)
