This place is awesome. Very well managed. The food is outstanding.
I love the facilities
They can offer more for the evenings. Like Kareoke. Music, family shows or quiz

Breakfast was amazing and I will always take a breakie when coming to this hotel.
Room was nice and cozy and especially the fire place - Awesome.
Dinner was good as well.
The fact that I only got there after 08:45 and the restaurant closes at 9. Ended up ordering pizzas though which got delivered to my room.

Friendly Staff. Lekker food. Great dance on Saturday night. Good position to visit the surrounding area. Especially the Elgin market on Saturday
Two beds moved together to make a massive double. I know there is not much else one can do, but the one appeared lower than the other

wedding we attended the food and accommodation was great!

We enjoyed our stay. Would have loved to have been welcomed by a fire in the main lobby area as it was a cold day and we could not enjoy the grounds or pool as much due to winter weather.
Have a more welcoming entrance area for guests to enjoy with the fire going.

Fireplace nice in the winter weather.
Sewerage smell.

Peaceful please..good for your soul ✨️ 🙏
After breakfast we went to our room to take nap ...then someone knocked on the door just as I got up to go open the door one of the cleaning staff open unlocked door and came in .I was still standing near the bed..she passed me and just say "I forgot my phone:"I was so shocked couldn't say a word. Her phone was charging with our charger

The room was lovely and big with a great balcony. There was a beautiful view of the mountain and forest. The smaller swimming pooler area was very peaceful and pretty so best to get a room near there.
The hot water in our room didn't work and after notifying the reception we were told maintenance would come but after 2 hours no one did and by then we had to go to breakfast and check out, so we never got to shower or bath. We only stayed one night so it wasn't a train smash but was a let down.
The staff were friendly but could do with more training. Besides the reception, the rest of the staff seemed a bit lost. The breakfast felt disorganized and with a few simple changes, like labels on the hot water and coffee urns, and staff to usher you in and direct you, the experience could be way better. It was weird that they only supplied instant/filter coffee with breakfast, no cappuccino/espresso yet they clearly had the machines for it. If this was an extra fee no one offered or explained when we asked for it.
The hotel has a lot of facilities but there is no real explanation of any of it and no detailed information in the room, only the basic advertising brochure for outsiders. It's a pity as the place has so much potential. There looked to be some type of wine tasting venue for instance but no signs or information about it.

The room was spacious. Lovely bathroom

Convenient location just off main road
Noisy guests who talked loudly with their group. but luck of the draw I guess.

Other guests made too much noise late at night and came pulling on room door.

I like the peace and tranquility and the super clean rooms.
I don't like the breakfast buffet - some of the staff are not very kind, especially the ones making the eggs and omelettes. They make it clear that they don't like their job and they don't do it properly

Great location, and large, comfortable room.
The wing I as in seemed to have reparations being done with some building rubble around.

Rooms were clean and the hotel was well-maintained. The setting was beautiful.
The food could have been better.

Everything was nice.

Typical adaequate with adaequate selection.
The dining area is acoustically deafening. Needs sound absorbent measures, one could not conduct a one to one conversation without shouting!
The chair height to table height proportion is uncomfortable.
See above? Additionally one could consider more comfortable chairs in the deluxe Ed room. The existing tub chairs are tolerable for a few minutes before becoming uncomfortable. Pillows help for a short period.
Staff are sometimes loud and even raucous at times.
3.9
Many options to spend time with the kids.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, but nothing the accomodation could do about that.

BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT AND WHEN WE ARRIVED I ASKED MY HUSBAND TO GET US A BUCKET OF ICE, THE LADY SAID SHE WILL ORGANISE IT. THE ICE WAS IN OUR ROOM WHEN WE WENT IN FOR THE FIRST TIME.

Food and facilities were good.
They did not take into account that I was a Pensioner and could not climb stairs to the room threy had allocated to me but rectified it after and gave me a very nice room.

Loved the fireplace in the room, gave that cosy effect on a chilly night.
Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. Thoroughly enjoyed the pancakes with syrup and fresh cream, a lovely experience.
Dinner - the menu showcased variety, unfortunately the steak that I ordered was tough and I struggled to cut through it and chewing took time, the baked potato and garlic sauce was delicious thou
Steak at dinner was below standard.
