About this house rental

Welcome to the Grande at Canal Pointe community, east of Route 1 and within walking/biking distance to downtown Rehoboth or the beaches. The Grande at Canal Pointe is the newest community just over the downtown line with two community pools, two clubhouses with fitness equipment and games like shuffleboard, tennis courts, basketball, and a play ground. The community is surrounded by protected wetlands, The Cape Henlopen State Park, and the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal. You can access the Junction and Breakwater Bike Trails (connecting Rehoboth and Lewes) at the entrance of the community. Biking into downtown Rehoboth Beach is only minutes away where you can enjoy fantastic restaurants and the quintessential beach boardwalk that features the historic Funland amusement park for all ages to enjoy. Outlet shopping is only minutes away. Three bedrooms are on the main floor including a full master bath and another full bath and the second floor includes one bedroom and the loft with a full bath. The kitchen is open to the Great Room and includes a separate breakfast nook and separate dining room with an extendable table to accommodate up to 12 for festive dinners. The outside patio includes table, chairs and gas grill, perfect for summer dining outside. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off after a long day at the beach! Grill dinner and take it along to one of the two community pools for a summer poolside dinner. The great room and upstairs loft have flat screen TVs. The basement features an entertainment area with a ping-pong and pool table. All rooms have ceiling fans. Wireless Internet and three parking spaces provided. NO smoking or pets. Guest pays $175.00 cleaning fee for stays under 7 nights. Sheets and towels are not included, but are available for rent. Travel Insurance OPTIONAL. Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards (subject to a 2.75% Convenience Fee). We also accept E-checks with no fees, as well as personal checks. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30-days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card (subject to a 2.75% Convenience Fee).

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was absolutely perfect for my family. There were eleven of us, 2 children and spouses, plus six grandsons ages 16-10. The community is beautifully maintained with pools, basketball, tennis and gym. It was just minutes to the beach. We have stayed in this community before but this property was perfect for us! Thank you!

This place was perfect for our crew!! We had 2 kids around 10 years old some a 17 year old and 2 young adults age 19 and 2 toddlers. We also had 3 adult couples. It was a great space for all of us to relax between runs to the beaches and boardwalks. The pool was refreshing and the community was so peaceful 10 out of 10 highly recommend! Also working with Sam and all the people at Berkshire Hathaway was a great experience also.

We had a lovely week at this house. It was very clean and spacious and nicely decorated. The only slight issue we had is that the wifi was pretty slow which meant trying to watch things on Netflix etc was a little difficult. But we would absolutely still stay again and recommend the property!

We loved the basement that had plenty to do for the teenagers in our group! The kitchen had plenty of pans and cooking items to make meals! Community pool and tennis courts were great too!

Great beach week!

Great beach week!

We loved this house and the neighborhood. Good proximity to the beach and town. My teenagers were able to ride bikes into town safely. The house had plenty of space and was very clean. The upstairs rooms were perfect for the 4 boys to sleep and hang out. The basement pool table and ping pong table were a welcome addition. The house was well stocked with cookware/dinnerware. My only complaint would be that the house comes with one pool keyfob which means only 2 people can go to the front pool and 4 to the back. So it was a bit disappointing that we could not all go together..or even half of us. A house with 5 bedrooms should have the ability for more people to use pool. Otherwise a perfect week!

Beautiful home! Fun basement!

This was a beautiful home and perfect for our beach getaway. The house is clean and a short drive from downtown. The community is cute and quiet. The best part is the basement - the ping pong table, pool table and ring on a string game provided hours of fun. The only complaint is that the TVs are humorously small (like Michael Scott dinner party plasma TV small) so don't plan to watch movies or play video games. But otherwise a great place to stay!!
