It was perfect - warm and cosy, beautiful setting, lovely breakfast and great facilities. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Nic about my family connections to the area.

A perfect location to relax . The little red schoolhouse was clean and comfortable and well equipped.
The history of the school and the farm added to the experience as did the pet lamb and the chickens paying us a visit.
All good

A unique setting, historical building, large outdoor area, comfortable, clean, stylish, welcoming hot, lots of extra touches
A little challenging if you didn’t have a GPS to find it.
A few old pair of discarded gumboots for international travellers would be a wonderful touch when one travels light & the weather is compromised.

Loved the birdsong. And general quietness of the place.

The kitchen area was so well done with efficiency and charm. There were cereal and coffee choices, lovely bread for toast with choices of condiments. We could have searched for eggs in the henhouse or picked veggies from the garden.
I loved that the Schoolhouse was a lovely red and the interior red door had a chalkboard with the name. We loved driving the country roads to get there.
The heavy rain in the afternoon could have stayed away LOL

Lovely location - rural so nice & private, picturesque & historic schoolhouse. All amenities there including stove hob, kettle & toaster, tea, coffee & milk, breakfast makings, etc.
Particularly enjoyed the little "Easter Eggs" like the child's school desk as a bedside table & school ruler forming part of the skirting board - delightful!
Spacious separate bathroom was great & outdoor seating on the deck was wonderful to enjoy the sunset & company from the chickens!

We loved staying in what was originally a school house. It has been very nicely converted into a bed and breakfast. It was warm and comfortable and charmingly decorated with school-room touches.

Nic & Greg were really friendly. Nic came to check on us shortly after check-in to ensure everything was in place. If was really a nice and peaceful area to stay in :)

A return trip for us and it was just as good as we remembered. Very generous breakfast, great bed and wonderful setting. The carrots from the garden were very nice too. Very cosy with an efficient heat pump.

Great Stay in a lovely House surrounded by the great outdoors, peaceful and quiet. The natural environment, the lovely red school house and the animals make our stay unique and unforgettable, especially Roger the Goat.
Everything was top notch!

We loved everything about the Little Red School House! It is worth the drive off the beaten track. Incredible attention to detail both inside and outside, you can tell a lot of thought has been put into this place by the owners. Lovely little touches everywhere and everything you could need to make your stay comfortable. We met Nic and she is lovely and was very welcoming. We loved the visits from the hens, and really enjoyed their fresh eggs for breakfast, and we loved visiting Roger the goat (and he loved the bread we gave him!). My partner loved the old farm machinery on the grounds. We will be back for sure. Such a peaceful, relaxing spot.

Comfy bed.
Didn't realise how far off the beaten track it was and am glad we got there when it was still light. I wouldn't say I didn't like it but it is something to be aware of.

Location is amazing
Breakfast was a bonus and great
Bed a bit soft
Toilet doesn’t flush well, the half flush doesn’t even work
Shower pressure no good, needs some work

A perfectly cute and we'll set up cottage, ideal for an overnight stay (or two) for a couple. The cottage is well sited for sun and set in a very scenic part of the country. We loved the views on the farm walk. Highly recommended.
It was a little chilly overnight (given time of year) but the heaters made a big difference and we slept well.
