Tolle Lage im Herzen von Reykjavík. Sehr saubere Zimmer mit inkludiertem leckeren Frühstück. Parkplatz im Parkhaus für kleines Geld erhältlich.

The front desk woman with really long hair was extremely helpful and patient with my many questions.
Very good breakfast.
It needs renovations/updates in the room we were in. We looked out at the overhang of rust and peeling paint.

Receptionist who was on duty most of the time (Ms. Alla) was the most professional and helpful person I have ever encountered in my hotel stays. Anticipated my information needs and had answers ready or got the info very quickly. A real gem among hotel staff.
Table in room was too small for my (or most everyone's) needs, such as laptop, phone, food and drink, and travel stuff.

Location of the hotel was perfect. It was off the noisy street but close enough to catch our buses for our tours. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was exceptionally good. It had something for everyone. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was very good. Good selection of cold buffet items. Excellent location close to downtown. A 20 minute walk ir short bus ride to conference.
One member of staff on reception was rather rude. All other staff helpful. Rooms very comfortable but a lot more basic than photos suggest.

Breakfast great choice given.
East walk to everywhere wanted to go in city. Hotel staff so helpful in arranging a taxi for us to go to Sky Lagoon

The Breakfast
The staff knew the room heating did NOT work in the Superior Rooms but still advertised the rooms - they only provided ineffective electric heaters. The walls and floor were icy cold and the only warm place was a bathroom wall (it had working heating) and under multiple covers in bed. We were never offered another room or alternate accommodation (eg. Fosshotel Lind)

The hotel is in a great location, easy to get to two tour bus stops (11 and 13), two blocks from the main shopping street, a great Chinese restaurant right next door, and a wonderful included breakfast. Add to that a pleasant staff, and you have a great stay!
My only complaint is that the beds are VERY firm-or at least they were in our room.

Internet not working properly, tv not working properly. Bed not confortable, to much noise on the corridor quite early

- the location
- bathroom sink
- it looked like the Tipton Hotel
- The TV was in the corner of the room instead of aligned with the bed
- The wooden floor made the room feel less comfortable
- The shower room was tiny
- The hotel decor looked like a retirement home

Good location and parking. The staff were helpful and the room was very big.
The room we stayed in was dated, however we just needed a room as our flight was delayed and this served its purpose.

The location is excellent and secure parking was a bonus!
Hotel is quite aged. Their was no soap in bathroom and shower soap, pump was broken. Also the water is non suitable for drinking, so it would have been nice to have a few bottles of water in the room.

location
the balconies in each room needed cleaning and fixed up. not inviting to step out there.

Best part of the stay was the breakfast--extensive and affordable (about $16 US dollars). The room was basic but did have a kettle to make tea or instant coffee. The pillows were firm and good. Bathroom was tight. Shower was too small and dark for me to venture into. Staff in lobby was very nice and helpful. Location was good for getting to the local buses. A good enough hotel for a 2-night stay.
Bathroom shower was tiny and dark. Not sure I could have bent down and washed my feet. Could not have shaved my legs.
I'd prefer to have a coffee machine in the room. I don't like instant coffee.

The hotel was standard, nothing fancy. For the price I would suggest a different hotel.
The staff was not helpful and did not offer to help arrange rooms which was disappointing.

Facility and certain rooms layout is difficult to navigate for Seniors.
