Comfortable, clean, with heated pool—good value for money

Fantastic heated pool, good food in the restaurants, great staff, and they just updated the locks on all the rooms—a very safe and secure place to stay! We highly recommend it.

Nice and affordable hotel in good location

It is an affordable and rather nice hotel near the centre of Nairobi. I had a lovely room on the top floor with a lovely view. I enjoyed the pool and I think all the basics are there. I was there a bit in the off-season so it was a bit quiet. It provided a fantastic starting point for all the excursions I wanted to do.

The room is a bit dated (especially the bathroom), but it is still alright. The restaurant was not very impressive, but it was a slow season, so maybe they up their game a bit at other times. Staff were kind (even if they forgot my request for a take-away breakfast on the one day I ordered it).

Super stay with great staff, nice food and a good sized pool. Very comfy night’s sleep.

Lovely spacious room with everything we needed. Good Wi-Fi.

Lack of towels and hand soap in our bathroom - but I’m sure that was just an oversight. We managed.

A pleasant hotel in Nairobi, ideal for stopovers and as a base for sightseeing

We have been going to the Heron since 2012. It’s a lovely hotel with friendly staff and good facilities. On our most recent trip (July 2023) they extended our room until the evening free of charge, as we weren’t flying out until late evening. The food is good, but do allow a bit of extra time for service. The rooms are spacious and there are lovely 2 bedroom apartments for families. We’ve never had a problem with noise from outside (apart from the hadeda ibis!)

Depending on the room, some of the features can be a little tired (eg broken shower fixing) and the keycards can be a bit temperamental so you keep having to go and get them reprogrammed at reception!

Beautiful...you cannot beat the proximity to CBD and the surrounding Kilimani area 😉

I'm a repeat guest in Heron Hotel and this goes back to early 2000. While I've experienced afew things every any other time,the Heron Court Hotel has maintained it's cleanliness and very polite staff even after several changes of management. The bar is average but this time round the kitchen has changed ,well Corona period changed everything everywhere in the world,so I'm sure it will improve to the original standard. Looking forward to more joyful returns.

I never got to swim in the morning because the pool was dirty (understandably,it was raining steadily for days before I landed).

The fact that they had only one iron box or less in supply and I have to be called at 6:00 am to hand it over to the house keeping

good location, comfortable beds, good a/c. swift checkin.

no hand soaps provided in the rooms and even on asking, only 1 provided between 2 people. Water leaking out from the shower cubicle. Wifi was not working. TV in the room not working.

My home away !!!

Perfect Hotel to stay for 1 to 4 nights. Great swimming pool and a good gym. The breakfast taste good and you can eat a nice dinner in the evening.
