The house was cosy and comfy. Great facilities, we had everything we needed. The private garden was exactly what we needed as we brought the dog along with us. Very well situated for excellent walks, beaches and general wandering. We really enjoyed ourselves, thank you so much.

Lovely Georgian house, very friendly owners. Everything was clean and the breakfasts were lovely.

Perfect location in centre of Dolgellau. Great communication from the hosts, and totally accommodating of all our requests. Charming and very old building, with lots of interesting features, and a grand history. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into giving guests a good experience.
Breakfast was great, with attention given to specific requests. Very good value for money, and would highly recommend if visiting the area and looking for accommodation.
It was all lovely, but it must be really difficult to keep on top of maintenance and cleaning in such a property as this and that's really the only comment to make here.

Very friendly, welcoming hosts. Lovely welcoming touches like welsh cakes and a bottle of wine. Jan gave us great suggestions as to what to do in the area. Fabulous accommodation, full of character. The cooked breakfast was very nice.
The toilet flush away system was a little noisy but I know this can’t be helped due to other circumstances. Would usually prefer a buffet selection of cereals, pastries and fruit etc but having said that, we got great value for our money.

The position of this accommodation was perfect for everything. There were plenty of walks from the cottage without having to use the car. The cottage had everything in we needed for our 3 night stay
Only personal choice but wasn't keen on the 'wet room' downstairs.

Fabulous stay! The owners were lovely, gave lots of tips about what to do/climb in the area and cooked a great breakfast. Room was comfortable, clean and warm; even electric blankets. The bnb is well situated for walking and the town was a pleasant surprise; quite a few decent places to eat including a tapas restaurant! We'll definitely be back.

Very good breakfast. Host was friendly and informative without being pushy. Location within easy walking distance of the town centre but in a quiet location.
Stairs were a bit of a challenge for older visitors!

Very clean and well kept.
Small size of room, but the bigger bathroom compensated for it.

greeted by Jan as we arrived he offered to take in our bags, we had a chat and he offered a locked place to put our bikes. Jan was extremely helpful throughout our stay, he explained how to get on the trail with our bikes which made it much easier for us, it was the most scenic ride to barmouth and we will be definitely doing it again. The town itself has lots or pubs , cafes, restaurants and shops to choose from , the B and B has a folder explaining the best for ales, prices, food etc... On our last day Jan asked us if we were doing anything nice, he suggested an easy walk outside the area which was lovely , im glad he suggested it. We will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location, owned by really nice people. The decor was very tasteful and complemented this charming house. It was immaculately clean and well-equipped. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and the beds were very comfy.

The hosts are two wonderful people very accommodating and welcoming great place to stay. We used it as a base to explore the area brilliant location plenty of places to eat and drink too will definitely be back
The shower needs some attention runs really hot then goes freezing cold that's our only issue but we realise it's a very old building

As this was a much waited short break, our expectations for the accommodation were low as our main focus were the activities that we had planned for this short break.
The minute we pulled in the parking lot (where we had a spot reserved for us) we got out of the car and were greeted by a crisp clean air, a smell of wood burning logs and the view of the accommodation that was picture perfect. The host greeted us and opened for us a safe place for us to store our electric bikes and showed us our room. He then assured us that as per our requests, there will be a vegan breakfast but on top of that, there are vegan cookies in our room alongside a plant based milk for our tea/coffee. More then that, he said that the duvets and the pillows have been swapped with ones that don't have feathers - that was that extra mile that completely blew our minds as we were expecting not to even have a breakfast.
The room was amazing. My wife loves old houses and old style decoration and this room, alongside the view of the garden were right up her alley.
The bathroom is big and clean and the shower is amazing.
This turned out to be the gem of our holiday and we couldn't believe how well our little 3 days short break turned out to be.
The hosts are amazing people that do go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible and alongside the effort they put in to maintain the place looking as good as it is, they offer advice on what to see, what to do and where to go in the area. We had our own itinerary that got the seal of approval from them and that just gave us confidence in our choices.
What turned out to be a last minute decision as it was a decision based on location/price alone, turned out to be the cherry on top of what turned out to be the best short break we had this year.
