We stayed in the Geranium Suite, which had the absolute most stunning views. Nick met us at reception and helped us with our (many and very heavy) bags up to the suite and was friendly, kind, and welcoming. This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed and we appreciated the hospitality and friendliness of the staff as well.

A perfect villa perched up a hill overlooking magnificent Lake Como with bright cheerful decor!

The property is stunning with windows looking out over Lake Como and a special view of the church in the center of Varenna. We loved the location, appreciating it was so close to the lake and center yet far enough away from tourists to feel like locals in this gorgeous town. The villa is so spacious, a contemporary kitchen to prepare beautiful Italian meals on a rainy day, a large soaking tub I relaxed in daily and so wonderfully decorated in bright colors. We loved everything about this special place including the gracious suggestions and reservations made for us by Christian. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Villa Monti for a magnificent stay in Violet!

We stayed in multiple places around Lake Como and this was our favorite by far.

The property was beautiful with the most incredible view. but the best part of our stay where the staff running it. Christian and Nick were the absolute best hosts they helped us with everything from getting the bags to the room, reservations for dinner, taxis, telling us the good places to go on Lake Como etc. I cannot say enough great things about them in the property if you stay there you absolutely will not regret it! can’t wait to go back!

Amazing location close to the cutest town on lake como

Location was amazing so close to town center. Quiet location overall very clean. Nick was a great greeting us answering all questions and arranging taxi to go back to train. The pool was so nice to relax after a hot day!

No wifi in the bedrooms and some fruit flies and spiders in bathrooms

Stunning Villa with the best views in Varenna

This place is beyond amazing. Just a short 5 minute drive from Varenna station (about 10 euro) it’s up on a small hill just a 2-3 minute walk from the lively main square where there are lots of restaurants, bars and small shops and about a 10 minute walk from the ferry stop. The views are breath taking. The pool over looks the lake and grounds are stunning. Christian and team are so helpful and kind, they helped to organize our engagement which took place on our apartment balcony. It was so special, villa monti will forever hold a place in my heart.

Location was gorgeous, views from the property, the terrace that was part of our room, the swimming lounge area, kitchen area beautifully designed with minimal essentials.

Could have used facial tissues and larger bath floor mat and a faster draining sink in the bath.

The perfect place to stay in Varenna.

The Villa grounds were amazing, and fairly quiet, above the noise and hustle of the crowded village. The view was spectacular. We made breakfast and sat by the pool one morning, and just sat and enjoyed the view for hours from the terrace, with our Prosecco and coffee. The pool was great for cooling off after a day touring Bellagio and hiking to the castle. Christian, our host, helped bring up the luggage, and with getting Taxis and reservations, and anything else we needed. The suite was spacious and well appointed. The washing machine was helpful. And although we only made breakfast a few times, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. It was a very pleasant and relaxing Villa.

Beautiful building. Good location

Architecture of building Location. Layout of apartment. Clean and contemporary decor. Garden area with great views and small dipping pool.

Mattresses were bouncy and squeaky. Perhaps time to replace. Difficult to sleep in living room as room was brightly lit all evening because it overlooks a brightly lit reception area that is separated by lightly curtained windows. Communication with Villa Monti was excellent until just after arrival. We never saw anyone in four days and we were unable to connect until departure. Fortunately we did not have too many questions afyer settling in.
