dommage ...

the property, the location, Ylenia was helpful
nothing- just love this place and will be back for sure

Stunning location, panoramic views and quiet location. Pool on site was very welcome. Secure with locked gates, situated along a quiet country lane. Grounds landscaped with terraces planted with a variety of plants including olives, figs and palms.
A good 15min walk to Ostuni centre, but plenty of choice in the main square

The property was beautiful lived the privacy
No air conditioning, it was an exceptionally hot week and only one fan, had to leave windows open to get air circulating and so got a few mosquito bites
4.3
The building is beautiful, very good location.
No air conditioning! We left the property 2 days early as it was unbearable. It was in the height of a heatwave and no amount of opening windows for a breeze helped.
We were aware of no air con when we booked but assumed the old building would stay cool in the heat.
Heaters have been installed, but I think it's ready for air con now!
Sorry for the negative review but just want to warm guests that it's impossible to cool down.
Otherwise it was fine.

Apartment was fabulous. Very spacious, clean and with wonderful facilities and views. Gardens and pool were kept immaculately. We had a large patio which was a bonus. Location is 15 minutes walk into Ostuni so you are are near but not in the middle of all the activity. Location was perfect!
Not the fault of the property but the road off the Main Street into the property was badly kept and not lit at all. Again no fault of the property but if walking to town you need to bring a light with you to see where you are going.

We had 2 bookings on the property - one side of the castle, as well as the trullo (which is located on the other side of the pool). Both were very spacious and clean! Bedsheets and linen were provided. When we arrived, Giussepina handed us the keys and gave us a tour of the property. She also sent some restaurant recommendations.
Pool - We went beginning of June 2023 and were not super lucky with the weather, so the pool (on the smaller side and shared with all guests of the property) was not very warm, but it was tolerable and we still swam.
Location was great - 5' drive/15-20' walk to Ostuni center but it's super dark at night since the roads are not lit, so be sure to plan accordingly. 3' drive to the local supermarket, and 15' drive to the beach.
Kid-friendly - I liked that a crib was provided free of charge and there was a lot of space for our toddler to run around.
Overall, it was great and we highly recommend!
The only "con" was that there were little items missing such as trash bags and iron, which for us was a bit of a nuisance since we were in Puglia for a wedding.
Just an advice to the owners: it would be great to provide small essentials such as coffee and salt for your guests :)

The views, the pool and the garden
The room we stayed in. It was damp and it didn’t have a window so there was mould all around the bed and bedroom walls. There was a humidifier and at arrival the bedroom floor was flooded due to the overflow of the water from the humidifier.
No instructions were given to us how and when it should be put on.
We complained to the owner but it was too late and the humidifier was put on for sometime while we were out of the property.
The wifi was almost non-existent.

Location! On-site parking and 3 minutes by car from Ostuni. Superb outdoor areas.
Shower was cramped and ants everywhere in the kitchen
4.3
The location is just beautiful. Friendly and timely key handover and available for anything we might need.
4.3
The entire propriety is spectacular
A very big and well managed garden, so many olive trees, orange trees
Nice view from the garden
The pool was clean
We booked the Trulli House - was a big mistake / better chose an apartment into the main building
Very few natural light, small bathroom, the shower is a joke - with the plastic curtain stick to you all the time, very limited amount of hot water
NO INTERNET inside and outside Trulli House (even they advertise free internet, you need to stay close to the main building to have internet access)
The kitchen tools need to be replace with a new one (broken cutlery, broken plates) - but to be fair, everything was clean
4.3
Beautiful accommodation about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Ostuni. Lovely setting and beautiful grounds. Small but perfectly adequate pool on a lovely terrace.
We stayed in Little Andrea, which is lovely with everything you need but only criticism there was only 1 bedside table.
4.3
a great property for one person like me. spent 6 nights and most was ok. a castle none the less.
I might have needed a fan it was quite hot
4.3
Great location, quiet with the most incredible views, and could walk to the beautiful town with a great choice of restaurants and it was just a short drive to lots of lovely sandy beaches. The apartment upstairs is beautifully decorated, and is very large and spacious. No air conditiong but fine with windows open in day snd a fan at night. We were allowed to check in early which was helpful as we arrived at lunch time. The host met us promptly and let us in, he was friendly and helpful. The grounds are stunning with plenty of comfortable sun beds by the pool.
Kitchen facilities are ok but quite small. Hot water doesn’t last very long. Pool is lovely but small so when other guests are there there is not much room, it feels a bit awkward. Not sure if somebody lives downstairs in the building?
4.3
beautiful location and accommodation.
The pillows are not very comfortable and the checkout time was rather early. very small negatives to what was mostly a very good stay.
4.3
The property was located close to ostuni and only a 20 minute walk.
We had great expectations to the place, and the outside area was nice with a pool and dining area.
There were lots of ants inside the house and also the plates, glasses, etc wasn’t clean.
we were promised a fan, but upon arrival there were none and we were given one later on our request. though we only got one, which made it some hot nights for the other bedroom.
Last we were promised a late check out which we had agreed on three months prior to our arrival. When we arrived we were then told that it wasn’t possible after all and two days before leaving the property were were told to leave even earlier than told upon airrival.
in general we enjoyed our stay, but there were too many problems.
4.3
location on the edge of Ostuni was lovely, great views and easy flat walk to the centre.
Stunning building
bed was a little uncomfortable and aircon / fan would have been beneficial
4.3
it was a very beautiful building with amazing views across the countryside and to the sea. the pool was nice, and a good place to sunbathe and relax
the bed was really uncomfortable and the crockery was all chipped. Our family were the only guests at the time which was great- the pool area would have been too small to accommodate any more people
4.3
Very clean and relax vibe, love the view!
No Wifi in the trulli
4.3
The location was perfect 5 minutes by car to the centre of Ostuni 10 minutes drive to a beautiful beach.the view was the best and a very peaceful place
Everything was perfect

lovely pool and lively apartment.
the beds and pillow were quite hard.

Fantastic location set alone high on a hill surrounded by a large garden on the outskirts of the old town of Ostuni. We enjoyed our stay so much. Easy to walk into town ( 15min or so, ) great little swimming pool, fantastic view across to the coast and the gorgeous surrounding olive groves. Very unusual building with a fantastic eclectic interior also has a barbecue area too. We loved our stay and wished we could have stay longer.
While there are lots of seats around the pool there was a bit of a race for the 2 pool loungers in the morning as some towel laying was used by our neighbours staying in the lower appt. Could do with a couple more loungers if i could offer constructive critic.otherwise everything was great.
4.3
Our stay at Rocco Giulia was just perfect. Everything was available in our house like kitchen stuff, a very good bed to sleep, a nice Italian bathroom and even a bottle of Red Wine from Puglia. The romantic Italian charm was visible in the whole Castle, even in the beautiful garden, pool area,… We will for sure come back with our whole family next year!

Pool an bbq area was amazing
In the booking it seems that u have the whole house, and it’s actually the opposite. If i knew that, im not sure I would have booked. Be clear on that.

Rocca Giulia made our holidays the best holidays ever! The best location, gorgeous view, nice swimming pool and beautiful garden. Everything was very clean and we had all we needed. Thank you very much and we hope to come back one day....

Great view, great people and awesome pool. Would love to come back!
Nothing
4.3
The location is an unmistakable landmark where everyone can enjoy the charms of a noble residence and the beauty of the valley that opens up towards the sea from the dominant position of the building
There's very little not to like at Rocca Giulia. Because of the blistering heat (+40 and no wind) we missed not having air conditioning at least in the bedrooms. Apart from that, a fantastic experience

Such a beautiful oasis to get away from the world. It is absolutely stunning! Massimo and Josephine were so very helpful and kind and went above and beyond the call of duty. I’m very grateful! Will be coming back! Be it with a group of friends of with the whole family. It’s just a perfect spot for any type relaxing holiday. Everything was spotless and beautiful!
Nothing about the property to dislike, but do make sure to rent a car to get around. Even if just to the town’s (gorrrgeous!!) historic center or to have dinner… everything is uphill and a car will get you anywhere in minutes.

Very beautiful super clean
Great location
Friendly stuff
Missing air conditioner but I believe it’s not possible to install it in such a beautiful old architecture
4.3
Dont book this accomodation.
Though the exterior pictures show a promising and different experience at a fairly high level, the interior is quite different. It really does not live up to the expected standard or what is promised in connection with your booking.
Notice that what might be stated in your booking confirmation, it is not an entire holiday home but in fact only an apartment in a house with only one bathroom and one toilet.
It is poorly maintained, and a great deal of the equipment is either old and worn out or replaced with the cheapest possible new equipment.
The kitchen is an old worn and minimal tea-kitchen with 2 gas burners - an old rusty fridge and a cheap little oven of china quality - and not a microwave oven.
You don’t have access to a washing machine and there is almost no hot water from water heater in the kitchen.
Very old TV (not flat screen) in the living room, armchair where one legs falls off, no sofa, tiles on the floor broken all over, the wind howled through the leaky windows etc. etc.
Don’t expect any kind of cleaning, clean bed linen, clean towels or even toilet paper.
Service seems to be an unknown concept.
Due to many marks on the skin every morning, we were almost certain that there are bed bugs in the bedroom.
We booked for 7 days but decided to move out after 5.
And finally: Don’t expect the landlord's representative to show any willingness to solve your problems.
If you want value for your money, save yourself the hassle and book somewhere else.

The place is amazing, exactly how is shown in the pictures. The castle has astounding views, swimming pool, grill, a beautiful garden and a big parking area. The apartment was in excellent conditions with all that you need to cook during your stay. The bed was comfortable and the included services worked perfectly. It was really easy to get the Castle which is just 5 minutes driving to the Ostuni city center, and about half hour to Monopoli and Polignano a Mare. The owner (Massimo) also offered us a late-check out for free to enjoy more our last day in his place. I highly recommend this place to enjoy Puglia. Grazie mille per tutto Massimo..

Amazing historic palace and lush olive and garden. Warm, discrete but extremely helpful hosts. Close to the beaches -short drive distance.
Wifi inside was not sufficient.
