very clean , friendly staff, next to the beach
no where to dry wet clothing, food was not that good

The front desk staff were great. Brenda and Josa specifically. Our cleaning lady was also wonderful.
Having to get up at 6:30 to get a spot at the pool or in the beach.
The food was the worst. The taco restaurant wasn’t too bad. The Italian restaurant was okay but the long wait times were way too long to get your food and the dress code did not stay the same depending on who the person was.
The Wi-Fi was the worst.
Only have one beer selection , well, two with the sun club.
The sun club is not that much of an upgrade.
Also the website is miss leading. There are photos of the other resort on the Puerto Vallarta website.
The resort was too crowded or it’s too small for how many people are in it at a time.
My husband got sick from the food and four other couples who that I meet did as well.
We will not be staying here again.

pools too small lots of people drinking all day whenever so I’ll leave to urinate. I was warned by the doctor not to get in the pool with open cuts due to bacteria

Room was dirty, curtains, floors, restroom and kids bed. Was never able to connect to WIFI.

The staff were very helpful. Location is great. Food was exceptional.
No place to store clothes in my room. Lounge could have a lot more tables and chairs.

Breakfast was the best meal of the day. We especially like the omelet bar, the pineapple and yogurt. We also appreciated the coffee bar where you could grab a coffee or cup of tea, along with some pastry anytime of the day or night.
We didn't like the fact that you had to pay extra (thought it was an all inclusive!?) for wifi in your room. Otherwise you had to go to the lobby if you wanted to check your email or whatever. Also were not impressed with the barbeque night - they had seating for 50 people, so we were told it was first come first serve OR you could pay for a bottle of wine to reserve your spot. Cheapest bottle was 600 pesos. Another money grab. Seemed weird that an all inclusive had all these extras that weren't included. The wine at the daily buffet was terrible!
There was also some weird stuff happening with getting a lounge chair on the beach or around the pool; there were never enough loungers for everyone it seemed. We weren't fans of the nightly (very loud) entertainment. Thankfully, it was over by 11.

The food, I'm Vegan and I was told before we arrived that the resort would be able to accommodate, but they had little creativity to other options, other than always suggesting vegetables!

My kids had a great time and we made great memories
So many issues with the resort and the staff

Service with a smile. Good entertainment.
Rooms need some updating.

Breakfast was great.
Need more food options besides buffets.

It's a really nice hotel and I got a very nice ocean view from my room.
There's no internet and you have to pay for it, that should already be included!

Location. Distance from airport. Food, service. We have no complaints. Getting our Covid Test onsite was fast and accurate.
Everything was great. I am sure competing with some of the newer resorts can be a struggle but everything we needed was onsite and great.

Staff was amazing. Energetic, friendly, engaging. They quickly remembered our names and our kids names and made sure we are comfortable. My kids loved all the pool games they lead. My husband enjoyed the daily beach volleyball. The Italian restaurant (especially the Italian menu) was delicious. Everything was very clean and frequently cleaned. The pool and lounges were scrubbed every night. The beach was small but nice. Soft sand, clean. Not good for snorkeling (nothing to see) but very swimmable. Good drinks. Clean, comfy room, hot water with great water pressure. Not too far from the splash/dolphin park and downtown. Easy to catch a bus to downtown. Free Covid test - easy to schedule and very quick.
The kids club was limited. My daughter (9) who is very social and loves crafts and games was very bored. It is aimed at much younger kids. They would do one craft with the kids, then stick them in front of a movie.... She was disappointed (so were we). My son (11) was utterly bored. They did let him in to the teen club when there was no older kids there but it wasn't much better. They said they have no kayak service due to Covid......that made zero sense (boogie boards and pool is ok but not kayaks?) The splash park/slides were only open from 12-4 (and some days even less). There is not much to do other than the pool and the beach. The trampoline was closed, the mini golf is next to a parking lot (and somewhat forgotten, needs maintenance), the ping pong paddles look like a dog chewed them... I was looking forward to the Zumba class.... It's not really a class, it's a bunch of great dancers dancing together. It was amazing to watch - very intimidating to join in for someone that's not very coordinated...
The buffet food was essentially the same everyday (with small variations) but there was enough to choose from that it wasn't a big deal. We did try to eat in the Italian restaurant every night because it was excellent. (The pizza and risotto there was amazing - pretty bland at the buffet). The VIP staff (that tries to sell you timeshares) was a little too pushy. The lady asked us everyday why we won't come to the presentation. I feel we should only have to say no thank you once. Our partial ocean view was disappointing... Yes, the ocean was partially visible but ONLY from the balcony. Not a huge deal since we didn't stay in the room that much but I feel that should have been clear.... Overall, we had a great time because who can't have a great time in a tropical place but we will not be back. I felt it was a good value for the price but next time I think we will spend a bit more and have a place with more variety and choices.

My family chose this all inclusive resort primarily for the newly installed kids water park and the location. Neither of these aspects disappointed. In addition we really enjoyed the entertainment team, especially Fabian and Daniela who were great with my kids. There is a teenager area also which was a surprise bonus where my older boy could meet other teenagers and play games (electronic plus air hockey, billiards, ping pong). There is a great beach volleyball area.
The hotel has beach access. The quality of the food was reasonably good and what we expected. Rogelio and Francia were very attentive offering drinks near the pool. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
We felt that there were too many people for the space the hotel provides around the pool. The beach chairs were always taken from very early despite not being allowed to take beach towels up to the room. The pool from 5pm on when the beach was closed by local authorities became super full making “safe distancing” impossible. The buffet area both at breakfast and evening was similarly full of people in a reduced space.
The beach had too many boats and meant there was a reduced space for swimming. There should be more coordination with nearby resorts to reduce the space used for boats.
This hotel chain has a system where VIP services try to convince you on check in to go to a breakfast at one of their other hotels. We politely declined to attend and this was fine. We were not happy that wifi is not included in the price of the room. We think they should increase the price a little to include this but it seems it is used as a tool to get people to go to the breakfast sales activity at the other hotel.
