Our room had a great view, very spacious, good at the restaurant was wonderful! Walking trails right outside the building

Adequate, but there are far more charming hotels nearby in better locations.

Large rooms with spacious bathrooms, excellent water pressure in shower

Spartan, sterile decor lacked the charm and warmth we have experienced throughout Iceland. Breakfast was mediocre, we missed the smoked salmon and cod liver oil offered at many other hotels.

Nice hotel

Large Room with modern bathroom, nice staff and good breakfast. There are some bad review but it seems to me that this was from stay before some things were rebuilt or changed.

For some reason the room had a kitchen but no cooking utensils, which is not bad but kind of weird.

It is a nice hotel

Room is good, quiet and big , bed is clean and comfy. That is my expectation.

Not for those who wake up early and want to start the day before 8am.

Beautiful layout and rooms are spacious. Awesome bathroom and shower. Beds are very soft-not firm at all. Nice kitchen area with stovetop, fridge, kettle, and sink.

“Breakfast included” but it doesn’t begin until 8am!! Not for those who get up and go out early!!

The room was spacious and included all the necessities. We specifically enjoyed hotel's restaurant where food was delicious

Upon sitting on bed huge dust particles flew around the room from underneath it. The mattresses were used up and caused back pain. I missed vegetable in breakfast menu.

I do not recommend Bifröst Hotel. There are better hotel options in the area.

Very nice surroundings.

The beds are old and the room needs a complete renovation. The sink faucet was loose and there was no mirror above the sink. Lightbulbs were missing from the lamps, only the light in the ceiling was working. The breakfast buffet was almost empty around 9 am and there was a long wait for a refill. The price of the room was outrageous!

It has everything you need for an overnight stay

Good breakfast & Comfy beds.

Room walls are thin, we can hear everything going on outside our room. Other than that, everything was great.

Recommendable stop-over on the way to the north.

Our room was huge (especially the shower). It was on the first floor, which was easily accessible via lift. The breakfast was very delicious with pancakes, oatmeal, bread, cereal and egg. As Bifröst is quite small, you can get very fast to all nearby attractions (like Grábrok).

Alas, the pool was not open at the end of June, which I was looking forward to. Also, we parked at the right spot, but did not find the hotel at first (maybe the sign blends in too well with the building?).

Did not like the fact that we were not allowed to cancel a room, even though we had cancelled on Booking.com. Theysaid it was not cancelled in time, it was Iceland time and not US time. When all other hotels considered our request, just a few hours late..that too it was Time difference that cause the issue

The wifi is terrible and if you want to use it from the lobby you have to do it before 10 pm because the lobby will be closed off. The pool/hot tub has been closed for a year, this is not mentioned on booking.com. Breakfast is basic. Don't expect fruit (except a greenish watermelon) or pancakes.

Very friendly staff. Great location just off route 1 and a Good place to stop after driving from Keflavik Airport in our way north. Interesting volcanic craters nearby, otherwise nothing in the area. Dinner was good. Breakfast was OK but replenishment a little slow.

Some lights didn't work, room had kitchenette but no way to use it. No phone in the room.
