nice hotel with pools, only one restaurant with not to much to eat
10.0
The property s very beautiful , clean and in a convenient location. The restaurant is very good: fresh ingredients cooked in an excellent way
10.0
Very nice hotel, the restaurant was a little fancier then excepted but still had a nice kids menu. Did need to make reservations which was a little weird but not a huge issue. Breakfast buffet was very nice.
10.0
Beautiful hotel with its own thermal waters. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food delicious! I would gladly stay again, and recommend it to everyone.

I saw the northern lights here. It was truly an amazing experience.
5.0
Everyone at the hotel was friendly and check in was easy. The tours offered by the hotel were great. Beautiful place to stay in Iceland!
3.0
The pool/hot tub offering is an additional cost, unlike other properties near by. This was not explicit in the info on hotels.com and was frustrating to learn when checking in.
It offers a wake up call service for northern lights, so be sure to listen out for two rings of a room phone!
The room was clean, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast offerings were good with nice variety.
It was more expensive than other hotels we stayed in on our trip, but I cannot tell you why!

Loved this property anda great locaation for visiting the aread
The breakfast includded in the booking was great. We also did the geo thermal baths in the area from the hotel.
Our dinner was very good but expensive as most of Iceland is. They have a happy hour were drinks ate discounted.
10.0
Hotel Husafell is a very modern, functional and clean facility.
Dining is a bit overpriced, even for Iceland standards.
Went for the Northern Lights, as it supposedly is one of the best hotels for them.
Unfortunately, even with the phone alert service they provide overnight, if it rains or it snows, you won’t be able to see Northern Lights…😩

We really enjoyed the hotel and the surrounding area. Many trails to explore. Beautiful sightseeing in walking distance and by car. Many tours close by and pick up location right at the hotel. I would recommend it. The hotel service was great and a great place to spot the northern lights.

The staff were fantastic. The food was amazing if a bit on high cost side. ..
The aurora notification where fantastic idea and worked very well. The pools and sauna where outstanding, but could have been included in the cost of your stay??..
Overall an amazing adventure and stay at the hotel and would definitely stay again...
The area around the hotel was amazing with plenty of activities and walking.
The into the glazier tour was out of this world..

Loved the cozy feel of the Hotel Husafell! Great rooms, staff, restaurant! Wish we could have stayed more than one night. Nice areas to walk right from your door, too!

Dinners are very expensive for what you get and menu quite limited. However service excellent.
Facility is excellent. Bathroom spacious with heated floor!!!
Parking in gravel, Drip bags on the cobblestone sidewalk before parking.

Very clean and beautiful property. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was very easy to book activities with the front desk staff. Dinner was very good. The restaurant had a lovely view!

Best hotel in the world!
There's nothing around but,
The pool is amazing and the staff will wake you up for the northern lights

Lots of great trails to hike.

Beautiful region of Iceland. Amazing waterfalls nearby. Husafell Canyon Baths were incredible to visit. Volcano heated pools that we visited were so nice. Great tour with a friendly guide. Only as many as 16 people go at a time. So fun. The hotel staff were friendly and helped us find lots to do in the area. There is hiking near here, a golf course if your so inclined as well. The restaurant in the hotel had amazing food. It was a high end dining experience. Can’t say enough about this hotel. 10/10 for sure.

Warm, mellow all around lovely hotel. Very accommodating staff, good restaurant in beautiful rural setting.

We stayed an additional unplanned day. Slept in,
went to the Hraunfosser (easy access and multiple viewpoints) then back to Hotel Husafell for the geothermal baths. It was a well needed, thoroughly relaxing day
10.0
Great eco friendly hotel. Room immaculate, quiet and had lovely amenities. All staff very helpful. Breakfast is first rate, so much to choose from- both hot and cold dishes.

The hotel was fine with small but clean room. the food in the restaurant was only ok though.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Hussafel and particularly enjoyed their fabulous world-class restaurant. The staff was fabulous and very helpful when it came to making decisions about our plans. They directed us to a great exhibit at the Settlement Museum on a day when it was a bit too cold to go horse back riding and also helped us book a helicopter tour. We can highly recommend this hotel.
5.0
Excellent standard, great service, very good breakfast, and very good value for money compared to the three other hotels we stayed at in Iceland this time.
10.0
Great spot and hub for lots of activities
10.0
Stayed three nights - two would have been perfect, only because we wanted to try somewhere else for dinner and there are no other options close by. Otherwise the hotel is excellent. Breakfast buffet is very good. The local golf course is a nine hole course and is reasonably challenging.
10.0
Amazing property in great hiking area. Restaurant staff and food; exceptional.
10.0
Great location and modern vibe!
4.0
Front desk staff not friendly, simple questions seemed to annoy them. Hotel advertising deceptive, hotel pool shown in ads costs more money to use ($25 or so) for single use. Only two very expensive restaurants and they require reservations. Nothing else is close.
4.0
Fees were charged for everything-even the pool that is clearly advertised- laundry was not self service and food choices very limited for such a remote location
10.0
This was such a beautiful property with an amazing restaurant. I only wish we had longer to stay!
8.0
Great location and beautiful property. We got to view the northern lights . One disappointment the pool area was closed.
