We arrived at night and they sent a driver to pick us up and it was so easy and totally worth it. We were welcomed upon arrival and felt safe and taken care of. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful. we enjoyed our stay with our kids.

It felt like a home away from home! The room was very comfortable and quiet. Our hostess was very friendly and very knowledgeable. The location is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood, but in walking distance to a number of good restaurants. One tip: Don't skip breakfast!
Can't find anything to fault this location.

This B and B is in a lovely colonial style character house in a quiet setting. If you like watching birds, get your binoculars ready. The host, Laurie and her team are super friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. A bonus is that there is a place within a quick walk to get your Covid test for international travel (Labin Cariari...best to book online in advance). In addition there are several good restaurants close by. We would definitely stay again!

It was a special stay that I will remember for a long time, and for many good reasons ! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and generous, fresh fruits, homemade banana bread, omelette, yogourt, and more ! The room was spacious, a lot of natural light, huge bathroom, nice terrasse, wow !
Laurie was so nice with me, she allowed me to stay much more time at her place after de check out. Because the Covid crisis, I found a flight to go home very late in the evening, so after the check out time, I stayed in her house, like If I was a member of family. We played with Alessandro, the parrot, I did the grocery with her, she offered me food for lunch ( but the breakfast was so generous that I didn't feel hungry before 20h !) every person in the house was so nice with me.
Thank you Laurie and your team, stay strong and be safe !
Absolutely nothing. I recommand this place without any hesitation.

Laurie, our host, was there to greet us and looked after all our needs during our stay along with her housekeeper Miriam. On our last visit to Costa Rica we used a tour company but this time we wanted more time to explore the central area around San Jose and choose where to go ourselves. So we relied on Laurie to help advise and organise what we did. She was excellent, the accommodation was very comfortable and met all our needs. Breakfasts were memorable, with plenty of choice. One evening Laurie cooked dinner which was great. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and walking out at night in Cariari was completely safe.

Lovely hostess, very welcoming. Helpful staff willing to go out of their way to make guests comfortable. Arranged airport pickup and drop off at early morning.
Close to airport (10-15 minutes) but too far from downtown to stroll.
