The staff was excellent.
Siba was very helpful. We had planned to leave early morning the day after we arrived to Mokala. I messaged the lodge and asked for a packed breakfast for us. They provided us with a lovely meal that we enjoyed in the park. Since there are no restaurants at Mokala, we really appreciated the meal.
The second day, we ate breakfast at the Guest house and the service was fast and the food tasty.
Lots of secure parking within their gates.
Pretty good wifi.
The kettle in the room was appreciated during the rainy days and filtered water was supplied from the kitchen.
The beds were very comfortable and linen was clean.
Good quality toiletries in the bathroom.
The rooms feel a bit dated. Lighting is a bit dim.
Mum's room had a sofa, Ours just had the bed and one chair. A bit of inconsistency that was jarring.
There was no storage space or a place to hang clothes in our bedroom. There was a cupboard inside the bathroom. Not the most convenient option when 2 people are hurrying to get ready in the morning.

Breakfast was very good with excellent service.
Rooms were big, clean and very comfortable.
WiFi was good and the gardens well maintained.
Secure parking was excellent
Whilst the bathroom was spacious and well appointed, it lacked essential grab handles next to the toilet and in the shower.
It is imperative that senior citizens and those with movement disabilities are catered for in this way.

The rustic feeling of the guesthouse and the friendly reception were outstanding!

The location is closer to the restaurants and the shops.
The wifi on the room that we were in it was not strong enough. It only had a bar. If they could extend their wifi signal to be the same as other rooms it will be perfect.
