Very relaxed and enjoyable visit. Staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast perfection!
Would have preferred a room with a bath

Terrific location on the outskirts of the pretty Dales village of Austwick. Helpful staff made the stay a joy. Breakfast was at a high level. We did not dine at the Traddock but would love to try the food next time.

Excellent
Overbath shower; time for hot water to come through; lack of hot cold labels on sink taps

Defining feature being the open fire for the early morning breakfast

Nothing.

The property is set in a beautiful location with easy access to many places such as Settle and Ingelton Waterfalls trail.
Staff are very welcoming and professional, they went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable. The room was luxurious with Molton Brown products, and home made shortbread. Staying at the hotel is pricey but you do get quality, we enjoyed our vegetarian breakfasts each day (the vegetarian black pudding) was delicious.
would definitely return, the train from Settle to Carlisle is a must, best views ever!
We are in the restaurant on the first night, I appreciate it’s an award winning restaurant but I would have liked some simpler dishes as we do not eat meat to the menu was very limited for us.

Breakfast adequate I am a chef and when I do egg Benedict I give both halves of the muffin plus 2 poached eggs not the half and 1 egg which was what I received. The room was only a big as the travel lodges we had been staying in for the past month and the restaurant evening meal menu very overpriced
Room size and evening meal prices

The breakfast was fantastic! The staff were all amazing! So so helpful and friendly. Allowing dogs to stay too made a big difference to us and the main reason we chose to stay. The biggest plus was the bed! EXTREMELY comfortable! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Delighted!
Nothing that we didn’t like!

nothing, it was excellent!

Friendly and helpful team. The first place that offered help with our luggage on a road trip with multiple stays. Smiles and genuine warmth
The basin was in the bedroom as the bathroom was too small.

very friendly staff
Food was very nice but slightly overpriced in my
opinion

Absolutely everything about this hotel was exceptional! We stayed 3 nights & could happily stayed longer. Our room Suite No9 was beautiful and we’d definitely recommend it. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Stef the receptionist felt like your Aunty! Quiet location & little extra details were delightful. Food was delicious. Beautiful gardens too.
Our only negative was the evening menu didn’t change the 3 nights we were there so we did eat out the 3rd evening.

We forgot toothpaste. Asked reception if they have any they didn't
And too many dogs clearly the owners are dog lovers!
