Great location right in the middle of the beach. Great bar and dive shop within. They arranged a private transfer from Cebu Airport and to Cebu Port which was relatively seamless.
Cash only - but that wasn’t clear until we were already there.

The location & pricing.
The staff acted like they were underpaid which wasnt very hard to read, especially when I spoke the local language while being American. They were also very observant and I received personal comments which was hard to say if it was a compliment or something else passive-aggressive. My understanding is that the staff may be in contact of local trip brokers and everytime we got out of our room they would be swarming around us offering trips and making plans for us where in reality our priority is to be in vacation, relax and not have any plans at all. We got talked into a trip into Kalanggaman Island and we had to cancel it but ended up having to pay for it still in the hope of being left alone but even after that they were still persistent in trying to have us spend more money.. the guy’s name was David. The “Pay Later” policy in the bar & restaurant takes away too much of your financial control so I wouldnt advice to get carried away with it. We spent 3 nights and this place wasnt the same 10 years ago, the locals are now more aggressive and money-driven compared to before they were happy to provide genuine customer experience and they always get tipped the same till today. It was Mabuhay Restaurant the at least made the whole trip enjoyable.

Accommodating staff, good food, live band and comfy rooms.
The beach front is not clean so we had to go somewhere else to swim.

Deluxe rooms have the great location facing the ocean and next to the beach.
Our room smelled a bit mould. The breakfast was ok but not great avalability on the menu. Could not pay the stay with credit card.

Friendly, helpful staff!
Nice bar, good rooms (AC, private toilet and good bed).
Great help with getting there (we got help with private vantransfer + private boat from Maya - espesially good if you travel with kids as we did).
Recommended!
Food was a little disapointing. Not poor, just not as good as last time we were visiting (2019). But there are plenty other options around and a few dishes was good - so in general no problem!

right on the beach, easy access to scuba facilities and restaurant. clean comfortable rooms with hot water shower!
my nicer more expensive room up front was a bit noisy because of all the restaurant activity and scuba preparations.

Awesome attitude and helpful staff..
Looks like some staff need more training on hygiene and infection control.

The staff was very nice and the breakfast was sufficient. It's right by a beautiful beach where there are daily happy hours :) And the sunsets are just perfect!
The wifi connection was not very good unfortunately. I needed to work there, which unfortunately I couldn't.

The place is near the beach with great relaxing ambiance. The room is clean. I also love their pillows! Sooo comfortable. There's a live band every Friday & Saturday. Their staff is very nice and friendly, and does not upsale you anything. Best place to chill. Overall, great experience. Would recommend it to friends & family.
I didn't like that I can hear the dragging of furnitures from above us (we were on the ground floor), but it was ok it was not that noisy.

it was near the port
1) no toothbrush shampoo or new soap
2) no water kettle heater
3) no free coffee
4) it was unclear that the breakfast was not free
5) my god the breakfast, its the worst part of our vacation
-Continental Breakfast only consist of toasted bread and Jam and butter? what?
- american breakfast quantity looks like its a snack not a breakfast.

We like the staff. Especially Ninõ and Alex. Very friendly people.
If your room is at the front part, it can be noisy. The local kids disturb us a lot of time. It’s not only one time but a lot of time. I hope the Resort can do something especially when the guest eats and wanted some privacy. The kids don’t ask for food but sell souvenirs.
Another thing, the hotel never informed us upon check-in that they don’t serve dinner. They have a barbecue in the evening from the owner's family member, that's very okay but I hope the people who work in the barbecue must also listen to their customer's instructions. Our first evening was terrible. We end up 4 days ate in other restaurants. But the management spoke to us after that night and apologized for not informing us about the dinner.
We also need to ask them to clean up our room because it's not every day they clean the rooms.
