A very comfortable experience with an incredible view.

The property was very lovely. We booked a room with a balcony that had a stunning view. The room was very clean, with beautiful tile floors. The bed was comfortable and it was nice that the TV has Sky channels. The staff was very kind and gave us recommendations for where to explore in Positano. The location was great - not too far down toward the beach but not too far up the cliffside, so it was easy to explore in both directions without getting too tired from the hills/stairs. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

It would be lovely if they provided robes and slippers, but that’s all I can think of! Truly a great place.

Magical

More like what didn’t I like about the property. Very easy to get to hotel since there are no stairs from main road. Huge beautifully decorated rooms with a lovely balcony capturing a breathtaking sea and Mountain View.

Nothing. But going in March is considered off season. So half of the restaurants and boutiques were closed. No Ferries unless you pay for private transfer by boat. Even music on the rocks was closed.

Das Appartement ist ein Traum, die Lage perfekt, 2 min ins Zentrum, Restaurants um die Ecke, Strand und Hafen über Treppen schnell erreichbar, der Ausblick von der Terrasse der Wahnsinn, super nettes Personal, tolle Tipps, Auto Abholservice und Bringeservice, Bushaltestelle 100 Meter entfernt, Einstieg Pfad der Götter ebenfalls fußläufig möglich , kaffeekapseln wurden täglich nachgefüllt

Amazing stay for honeymoon

The room was spacious and beautiful!!! Best views in Positano from our balcony. Also Francesca at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Perfect hotel to start our honeymoon!

The breakfast being brought to our room was wonderful but the only very very small minor thing is it only included bread for the meal. It would be nice to maybe have some cheese or meat included as well?

Our stay at Alcione couldn’t have been better! Staff is so friendly and helpful. The view is out of this world. There’s almost no reason to leave. You have the most beautiful view right from your balcony. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful views, not impressed by the service and overpriced

The views from the terrace were beautiful and the reason for choosing this hotel.

The hotel is not easy to access on foot which is the only option when arriving from the ferry. Luggage cannot be easily transported through the streets so it was €40 to take the luggage to the hotel. The entrance to the hotel was not welcoming and neither were the staff. It was a strange set up. Very basic upon arrival. You are paying the inflated prices for the views only. Our breakfast was delivered to the room and before you had time to finish it they were knocking at the door asking to take your plates away. I felt rushed and we wanted to feel relaxed after spending over £2000 on one nights stay. At checkout the staff were quite abrupt and after looking forward to staying here I felt disappointed by the service. The views were my reason for staying and they were nice it’s a shame the ambience was spoilt by the service.

Everything! The location is perfect - right in the centre of Positano, within easy walking distance of all shops, bars and restaurants. It’s a short 10 minute (up hill) walk from the port too which is great if arriving by ferry from another island. The staff were super friendly and helpful - showed us how to walk the Path of the Gods from the accommodation, helped us to book restaurants and went above and beyond to help us celebrate our anniversary - they decorated our room with petals and roses, it was gorgeous! The room balcony is just perfect too. It has a beautiful view, two comfy sun loungers and a table and chairs for breakfast al fresco which is delivered to your room in the morning. They’re also south facing meaning you get to see both sun rise and sun set and can sunbathe there all day.

Instagram worthy hotel in the heart of Positano!

This place is absolutely stunning, the views are Instagram worthy, even in bad weather which we unfortunately had one day. The view looks out towards the main area of Positano as well as the beach down below. Our room was huge, much bigger than we expected, with our own balcony as well as a larger shared patio which no one but us even used. The staff were amazing. They organized our private transfers to and from Naples, they booked restaurants for us and even a sunset cruise. The hotel is really well located, across the road from Positano's hottest bar (if you're willing to wait in long lines to get in) and is an easy walk to the main area and beach. The highlight was breakfast which they serve on the balcony, which if you get some good weather like we did, ends up being a stunning experience. All in all, this was well worth the money, if you can afford it then this place is perfect for a romantic getaway!

The Terrace is an amazing retreat from the hustle and bustle of Positano. The location is close enough to be able to walk down to the beach in 10 minutes there is also an amazing restaurant downstairs beside the property.
