Super nettes und bemühtes Personal
Wegen der bevorstehenden Großveranstaltung war das ganze Hotel eine Baustelle. Schade. Das hat den Ausblick sehr beeinträchtigt.

Gorgeous location on the banks of the Zambezi. Great facilities, comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Great evening spent for braai buffet dinner.
Some features of the rooms require a little updating but did not affect our stay.

The staff are very pleasant and willing to help. The facilities are very clean
There was no safe and telephone in the room but the place says these are provided

beautiful location on the river with lovely view from the room.
very clean and comfortable room and bed.
Breakfast was plentiful and good selection. Self service so no service issues!
check in staff were a little cool and not particularly welcoming.
Serving staff at dinner had clearly had no training. Seemed bewildered, wasn't sure what was available and took a long time to bring wine/food. Restaurant was lovely setting but let down by service.
Aircon in the room was faulty and not very cool. Not adjustable. Duvet on the bed rather than a sheet did not help the situation.

The African style property on the banks of the Zambezi is so beautiful. Loved how everything here is so rustic and comfortable.
We stayed here for 5 days and there’s lots to say . starting with the positives-
* Natural beauty in abundance
*Comfortable rooms
*Super helpful front desk - special mention for Brenda - helped book our activities.
*Good service - room as well as restaurant
*Amazing SPA - we were blown away by the masseur. Awesome facility.
Negatives -
* no shuttle to the city Centre - The taxi services charge 25$ per trip. expensive
*Restaurant - the menu is limited. More options on the menu would have been great.

Location of the hotel. The scenery.
The price I paid for the stay. I paid twice the amount that a colleague who booked via phone paid. I have receipts as evidence. I feel robbed by booking.com. Never will I use this app.

We were a bit early and could check in by 13:00, which was great.
We were also excited to be upgraded to a suite with a hot tub. The suite was stunning, the bar area was really great.
Unfortunately the hot tub didn't work. We called the maintenance staff and he came to our room at least three times claiming to switch it on, the lights went on but the water never got warm. Such a bummer.

Overall, this was a lovely hotel and I would stay there again. The location on the river was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurants was excellent.
The location is a bit remote and the hotel discontinued its complimentary shuttle into Livingstone during the pandemic, so going anywhere involved a 20-30 USD taxi ride. Also, most activities that the hotel arranges (airport shuttle, game drives, tours, etc.) have a two-person minimum, which was less convenient for me as a solo traveler.

The room was lovely with a great river view. It was ready early so we could enjoy it the whole day. The staff were friendly, particularly the head chef who ensured we were catered for as vegans. The pool was nice and there was a small gym overlooking the river, which we used.
The grounds overall were pretty and we loved the Sunset cruise. It might seem pricey but drinks were unlimited and we had some nice canapes.
The food was expensive and wasn't the best. We walked across the bridge to waterfront for food which was better in value and selection for vegans. Same for the drinks, but its to be expected in a fancier hotel.
One thing they must change is the provision of drinking water. There should be a water filter tank where guests can refill their bottles to reduce plastic waste.
The sprinklers were on far too much considering it had been raining.

The location was fantastic. It was close to various attractions and activities. In addition, the scenery was breathtaking. We were sad to leave.
The service in the bar/restaurant area lets the place down. Everything we ordered from food to drinks and even asking for the bill was a struggle. The staff were lovely but just disappeared off for ages every time we asked for something. It was rather frustrating.

the room was nice with a view. you can monkey and elephants on the property.
food and bar closes early. not many choices for people that don’t need meat. front desk isn’t 24hrs although someone is in the back room.

the ambience is perfect for an African resort
It’s far from everything, and it is not easy to get transportation. It’s extremely expensive to go to the Zimbabwe side and that is where all the action is. Also, staff doesn’t help you with your needs. They are extremely slow. It took one and a half hour to get my room service and they didn’t bring what I had asked for. I had to return it and I didn’t get anything else because it was too late. Yet, they wanted to charge me for that. At the end they took it from the bill, but in other places, they would have taken off the bill without me asking.
Also, the phone in the room didn’t work. I had to call with my cell phone to reception to get what I needed.

Great setting, beautiful lobby, friendly staff, nice room, comfortable bed, good food, reasonable price (apparently booking.com has good discounts)
Infested with mosquitoes, at sundown you have to run... (there are some small ponds, where they breed, so may suggest they create a flow, or some other solution)
