I really loved the view of the lake and the space of the room; Very friendly staff too

I like the breakfast options and the food options. The waiters were really helpful. The rooms were good and they were happy to cater to the requests which i really appreciated especially travelling with a young baby
More attention is given to the white people staying in the hotel. Its nuanced but you can easily catch it.A bit of more landscaping needed for the grounds

the environment, the staff and the spa
the food was ok but after a few days it became boring. Maybe worth exploring having external options in handy

Location is fantastic, right by Lake Naivasha. One can see plenty of deer and hippos coming to graze at night. The food (especially dinner) is excellent, with good Indian / vegetarian options
A bit on the expensive side, for the size of the room.

We zijn er nooit geweest. Zonder enige communicatie zijn we naar een ander hotel gebracht. Lake Naivasha Country Club was overbooked. Terwijl we al in augustus 2023 geboekt hadden.

good location, buffer style meals but both quality and quantity were good. Room was clean and decent. Staff were helpful and friendly.
nothing i can think of.

The restaurant food was incredible, the menu was diverse and the quality of the meals at supper was excellent. The evening visit from numerous hippos was a delight.
The rooms are a little dated but functional.

The location and staff
The rooms were stuffy and smelled dump. The beds were uncomfortable and the mosquito net was full of holes and didn't smell fresh

Being inside nature and see those animals in front of your place was amazing.

Really enjoyed our 2 nights here. Large room, patio and great restaurant and bar. THE STAFF WERE AMAZING 😻 especially ISAAC the Masaii boy whom my husband really bonded with! So fun watching the monkeys 🙈 in their lush gardens as well as the animals.
This place needs a 5 gallon water dispenser in their lobby or restaurant to reduce plastic waste. We were always thirsty and I hated having to use plastic water bottles. Raise the room rates a few shillings or charge a bit but stop with all the plastic bottles!

Incredible location looking out over lake Naivasha with huge green lawn with an amazing number of spectacular birds along with water buck, zebra, and hippos visiting the grounds.
Food was sometimes great and sometimes OK.

great location, you get to see hippos at night which is awesome. courteous staff.
there was an electrical problem resulting in no electricity in our room which took several hours to fix. the staff did their best, but could have been avoided on a weekend.

we have stayed here before , so we do like it , love the hippos coming up at night and the monkeys , boat trip was good and comfortable and our guide was knowledgeable. food fair . staff great
the prices have gone up considerably but it doesn’t reflect in the standard of property. the food could do with modernisation , a little extra touches in the room , a little updating

Very clean rooms with good quality bedding
The stretch from the road to the hotel. Then the parking space / front of the hotel that require re carpeting

Staff were friendly and helpful, lake view was very good.
Toilets were not flushing, need to look into the drainage issues, internet not stable, sockets were not working, kids entertainment was poor, need to put more TV channels. The road leading to the hotel is dusty and would make one scared to drive at night.

Good position with the lake view. on some lucky days you could see water bucks and even giraffes walking in the garden
reception gentleman’s hypocritical smile- not genuine and practically helpful to be very frank. I got a flat tyre and asked for information- ‘sry I have no idea’ with a classic smile.
facilities are too old. and we missed the England- France WC match due to projector connection/network issue. again we asked staff around for help but no actions has been taken.
Checkout time is too early and another unforgettable case is that just one minute after I checked out at 8am- I tried to get some black coffee from the nearby instant nestles coffee machine as I saw a staff just did the same there- unfortunately I was stopped by the same reception gentleman and instructed to buy it from the restaurant where we had breakfast 10 mins ago..
Yet everything comes with a relatively high price- boat trip booked from hotel doubled the market price, transportation to hell’s gate booked from hotel tripled/quadrupled the price.

I liked the fact that the staff were friendly and helpful.
The property is completely run-down especially the rooms. When we got there,we were given a very dull, smelly and dark room that had dirty bedding. We complained about it and we were given an option of viewing two more rooms, which were bigger but with filthy bathrooms especially the sink area and toilet. We also had a free upgrade of which wasn’t given to us until we asked for it.The pool area is quite nice and has been maintained properly but unfortunately that’s the only good thing about this place. The staff are really nice and friendly but we were so disappointed that we almost left the same day we arrived. We also managed to visit a nearby resort and we really regretted not choosing it instead of this place. When we arrived,we were served cold food which was extremely expensive and not so much to choose from so we opted to eat out. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone because it needs serious renovation being that it’s expensive and completely different from what you see in the pictures. I travel a lot and this is easily the filthiest place I’ve ever been to…not to mention, our bathroom walls had blood stains ☹️When we gave our honest review,we were only told that other guests have been complaining too and that things have been bad because of the pandemic but the lady at the reception agreed with us that the place needs deep renovation.
