Hotel has a super location.
There is enough parking on the property and restaurants are close by. Supermarket is 5min drive from the hotel.
The grounds are amazing and from the general terrace which everyone has access to you can see the sea. The room had the perfect size and we still had enough space with 2 big luggages.
The breakfast was good. We thought it would have been nice to offer some vegegable like tomatoes or slices cucumber.
Otherwise there is a guest fridge where you can leave your stuff and a kitchen to prepare food.

I loved the coziness and authenticity of the house. Completely in the nature, surrounded by gardens and farms. Feels like true Madeira. The beds were confortable, rooms are big enaugh, common area is very nice. Breakfast was good. It's also close to Santana centre and the bus stop. There you can also find some restaurants and a shop.
I recommend booking this place only if you are renting a car. Bus connections are only a few per day, taxis expensive. They also don't have anyone at the reception most of the day so be careful with the time of arrival. We came at night even though we clearly stated that in advance and got a confirmation from them, noone was waiting for us. But the owner resolved the situation, took us to a nearby hotel and didn't charge for that night as it was cearly a misunderstanding.

it is an old (colonial looking) house very well maintained with modern rooms, comfy beds, and a nice common area. perfect for traveling with a group of friends. location is also top notch, easy access to many trails from there.
it was perfect and I miss it

10 minutes from centrum on foot.
You can choose what you want to eat for a breakfast (of course there is the same but there are a lot of options). The host is really nice.
Our room was prepared exacly like in advertisement.
There was a dessicant in our room.
There is a beautifull antique living room!!!
The negative comments we read didn't work out.

A very nice, small hotel located in an old Maderian villa. The room is spacey and bright. Great garden and tranquil neighbourhood. Very close to Pico Ruivo and Noth Coast of the Madeira Island.

The staff was very friendly. Customers have access to the kitchen and it’s really nice.
Our room was really humide. Towels couldn’t dry in 24 hours. A car is needed to reach the place

The accomodation was set to a nice, quiet surrounding. The house itself was big and spacious, especially dining room. Our room was clean, comfy and there was nothing to complain about. Special thank to nice and warm hosts, who prepared vegan breakfast just for us. Breakfast was perfect anyway. Great place to stay for a few days.

We got a bottle Of prosseco for my birthday that was very nice of them! But the room smell of dump so much that I could smell it on my hair ! Also we had ants in the room. The property was old and needs some upgrading. The living room was very nice and it was nice to chilled out by the chimney in the evening

Breakfast, view, room, parking - everything was perfect. The besp place among all 3 where I stayed in Madeira. Love Santana))

Bed was comfortable, it's an ok place to stay for a couple of days to do some hikes in the area.
Garden was unkept and wild, not really a place to wander and stay to read a book. Breakfast was ok but most times there was no-one to ask anything we may need (2 out of 4 mornings). Was a bit pricey for what they offer. It feels quite lonely.

Super friendly welcoming and helpful service. She keeps the house in a very good condition and gives help where she can. It's very comfortable. We felt at home, the guests can use everything from the kitchen, a wonderful big garden, tables and chairs to sit and eat outside.
