Very quiet and wonderful location. The house itself was basic and clean. Everything we needed was there. Beds were fine.
Place was a bit outdated.

lack of window covers to sleep in the bright light

Everything! Location was excellent, easy check in and we saw the aurora during our stay!

Cosy two bedrooms family cottage, with kitchen, bathroom, living and dining area.
Very windy due to the storm, wind was blown through the windows seals and the walls of the structure causing loud noises. Living room could have been warmer due to one of the radiators was not working.

Tranquility is the main thing about this cottage! We have sent 4 nights (should be 5 but due to a long delay of our flight we had to shorten our stay and the host reduced the price automatically, we didn’t need even mentioning this) and each day was different an vey pleasant, even the heavy storm was a fun! And we had fantastic stars, northern lights, elks, etc., etc.
everything was great!

Very complicated to rate this place...
When you come to the cottages you must call to the host because you would not get any explanations for arrival. We had a problem with our phone and could not call. For our luck in the second house were other guests and they helped us to connect with a host. He was nice and said that the key just in the door of yellow cottage.
The cottage is big! You have two bedrooms and big common area. There is a kitchen with equipment.
The house looks like... sometimes, years ago.... it was a great place, big, comfortable and nice for staying, but now all looks very old and slipshod...
Not clean!! Dirty bathroom, dirty equipment in the kitchen.
Cemetery is near, can be problematic for sensitive people.
Lack of blackout blinds is really problematic in the summer.

Just the best room I stayed in my Iceland trip.
Big size, with room for a lot of people.
Kitchen, microwave and kitchen tools available.
Smart TV with Netflix.
Calm area, near the motorway.
Easy check in.
A little difficult to figure out how to access at the 1st moment.
In winter road access might be tricky (short but unpaved road).

The views are definitely the most impressive aspect of this rental cabin. We were really impressed with the views of
the mountains all around. The place was quite big, having a living room, two rooms, kitchen, bathroom and hall. The bed was comfy and the place was warm.
Personally, we didn't like the old interior design of the cabin. We all agreed that the property has so much potential and that with small decoration and details here and there it would have been definitely a 10!

Very nice cabin to stay in. It is quite spacious with a proper living room area, small kitchen, small hallway and bathroom, small room with a bunkbed and a bigger room with a double bed. In comparison to many other accommodations the price-quality is very good. It is close to the ring, but feels quite desolate in a beautiful landscape. Decent wifi, beds and bathroom.
The shower was fine, but the temperature somewhat in between lukewarm and warm.

Was an easy check in and location off the ring road. Cosy and comfy at a budget price. It was nice and secluded too. Essentials for the kitchen were provided plus a fridge.
The wind really whipped through the front door (we had windy and rainy weather) and the night was quite noisy. Cabin needs a good refresh of decor and facilities, as well as a DEEP clean. The kitchen needs a little oven as it was quite hard to cook with two hobs! Big tv, but channels didn’t work.

Place not far from the main road, two bedrooms, temperature inside, interior design, place In are with limited price reasonable accommodation.
would appreciate some drying hanger, for a longer stay limited storage area, rather poor kitchenware and dishes, missing small sharp knihe.

A nice little cottage kinda in the middle of nowhere. Everything was as expected, if you are looking for privacy, where nothing (except another cottage like yours) and no one is within 500 meters, look no further. :-)
The landscape is just the usual Icelandic: awesome.
I really liked the floor plan, with the two separate bedrooms, and the relatively large living room.
Everything was OK, I couldn't name anything here.

Wonderful cottage, great space for out family of 3 with enough place and space. Good kitchen, living room and 2 bedrooms, with terras. The place is just amazing. We felt so great and comfortable. Nature is just great. You can really rest there. We were were so sorry that our plan was to leave the place next morning. Next time when we come to Iceland, we will definitely come here for longer time.
Only thing what we did not like was that the floor cleaning things were in the bathroom. Could be some other places, which would make the bathroom more nice. Also, we had our own shampoo and shower gel which was very good, because the property did not provide them.

The cottage is quite spacious and everything you need for a stay while touring Iceland. It is well situated close to Hofn and perfect for a stop before heading up the East coast. The view over the sheep fields in the morning is lovely !
The interior has an old farmhouse feel to it, not so modern but it is perfect how it is.
Some instructions prior to getting there would have been great as we arrived quite late in the evening and didn't know which cottage was ours or where to get the keys. In the end, the keys were on the door and we stopped at the main house to check which cottage it was so fairly easy.

Peace and quiet. More room than a hotel. Scenery.
Tv had 2 channels.

Basic but very clean and comfortable for a night stop on the way. We took the two cabins and it was very comfortable
Each cabin has one double bed and one bunk bed. Less convenient if you are two couples
