Бюджетно и комфортно

Бронировала номер родителям. Было чисто, не шумно, удалось отдохнуть после перелета. Здорово, что в гостинице выселение до 18 часов. Им также понравился завтрак.

Стоит учесть, что отель расположен на окраине. Для нас это было не принципиально, потому что искали вариант только чтобы отдохнуть после перелета.

Отсутствие ремонта в номере; старая сантехника; маленькое одеяло, которого не хватает на 2-спальную кровать; плохая шумоизоляция, что слышны все звуки из коридора и соседних номеров; стойкий запах сигарет в номере, который не скрыть ароматическим диффузором; пятна на простыне.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

The location was terrible (though of course I had a chance to check on the map). It really is a long way out of town.

When I arrived, despite having a booking.com booking, I was told no rooms were available because there were 'a lot of Russians' (at this time, cowards avoiding the draft and escaping into neighbouring countries). If that wasn't bad enough the receptionist couldn't give a damn. And so there I was in a strange city, in the dark ... I got a taxi to a decent place called Sunkar but Astina refused to help or even pay the 1500 tenge for the taxi (three GBP). Please avoid this dreadful place.

The room and corridors are very smoky. I asked to change the room but they answered that all rooms are the same. Plumbing in the bathroom was broken.

100% what we expected and a great choice. We love Khazakstan!

The rooms are very spacious and authentic. The staff typical Border guard style ladies that when you rub them come alive with a smile, Its at the end of a dusty Road, Taxis from the hotel are very very cheap, its a good 20 minutes into downtown Astana, however plenty of time to chat to the driver! Stop at the bakery down the road for a £1 pizza loaf mmmm.

The Breakfast was a little on the poor side, just a small plate of about 5 items and a coffee. Beers were not that cheap and the spa at the back seemed a little unwelcoming, perhaps because we tried to get in at 10pm :-) Although the room had cups and saucers and glasses, there was no kettle, teabags etc or water replenishment, perhaps I needed to ask for these?
