Wonderful!

Such a friendly atmosphere. The host speaks good English and is very accommodating to helping you have a great stay. They can provide a dinner with local dishes and you should enjoy it - it was delicious! The yurts are beautiful and the garden is really nice. It's close to the lake, in walking distance. Beautiful to watch the sunset! Oh, and breakfast was really great. Thank so much for making our stay wonderful!

When we were there the pool was not filled and the sauna was not in use, so we couldn't experience those facilities - therefore I can't review them. There is 1 shower and 1 toilet - I can imagine that being less comfortable when the place is all booked. When we were there it was nice & quiet so it was no problem at all for us.

A great place that is totally worth experiencing

1. The hostess was the friendliest and warmest person one can meet when dealine with accommodation bookings — always around happy to help with lots to tell and recommend but also very discreet. 2. We stayed in the yurt, and it was a piece of the art — beautiful, warm, cosy and clean, surrounded by blossoming trees of an orchard where the yurts are. 3. The facilities were also clean and maintained well and the breakfast was great. We were also contacted in advanced to be asked whether we needed dinner (we refused as we has food with us, but it was a nice gesture). 4. We were also allowed to make a fire (you can buy some wood from the hostess) and have a nice get together with your friends around it if it's cool in the evening. 5. Well, it is located in a beautiful area that is simply worth seeing.

The only disadvantage is that we didn't stay long enough.

Highly recommend to stay here!

Nice location and beautiful view close to Issyköl lake. The room was very clean and and beds were comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and close to our room. The host was very welcoming and the food was prepared freshly each time and tasted very well.

It was a awesome stay at Yurt Camp Aktan

The Yurt Campsite is a treasure. The stuff is very friendly, attentive with an open heart. The meals we had: breakfast, lunch, dinner all very delicious kirgisian dishes and everything was freshly prepared and homemade by the house lady Mufara😋 It is located close to the beach, and the apartments and the yurts are surrounded by a beautiful garden full of flowers and trees with piers, apples, peaches. The view from the Camp is stunning. You can see the Issyk Kul, the snowy mountains in the North, as well as in the South!

A GREAT place to stay.

Hostess was very helpful and friendly. Food was very tasty. Location is super - just 15mins walk from a huge sandy beach (and 5mins from another beach). Great lake and mountain views from the veranda. We stayed in a Yurt, which was a great experience - but there are also lots of modern comfortable rooms as an alternative. A GREAT place to stay.

We stayed two nights and it's been a really nice stay. The guest house was recently renowned and it has an amazing view on the mountains and the lake. The family is really welcoming, they help us with our planning and took really good care of us. Really recommend!

The host is really welcoming, happy to help for anything we have asked (driver, breakfast, etc). The location close to the lake is perfect for a short rest at the beach. Breakfast is also delicious 😊

Water for the shower was not warm and the swimming pool was out of service (probably that we were not lucky)

Was our first stay in a yurt and we loved it. Lovely family running the guesthouse that provided great recommendations. Close to nice beaches where one can enjoy the sunset almost by him/herself. Yurt and (shared) bathroom was perfectly clean. Excellent value for money.

There is limited wifi/internet for those who care. Just as an additional note for other Travelers: Would probably recommend to choose the option to have dinner in the guesthouse as the options in the surrounding villages are limited.

Must stay here-absolutely perfect peaceful getaway

This is a beautiful retreat on the shore of Issyk Kul. The property is beautiful with great views and fruit trees and even activities like ping pong which we did not use. the yurt was beautiful and the rooms also looked very nice. Shower facilities were great and the pool looked refreshing and, clean though we did not use it. There are not words to adequately describe the kindness and welcome of the owners. They can communicate well in English or local language and are amazingly friendly, without coming on too strong. meals were also great. Gap yok!

The yurt was a bit warm and the bed (mats on the floor) a bit hard, but this is a yurt after all. We wanted to experience sleeping in a yurt on our trip and now we know we prefer beds, but worth the experience for a night or two if you haven’t yurted yet.

All in all you will be taken great care off, have great conversations and enjoy beautiful views.

Such a relaxing, quiet spot. The family welcomed us with open arms, helped us out with everything and made our stay so very comfortable. They also understood english very well, which made the communication a lot easier for us. The rooms are clean and have a fantastic view over the sea and mountain range. Bathrooms are just down the hall, very new and clean. A good breakfast, lunch and dinner can be booked for around $5 each, which is served in a traditional yurt. You can also cook for yourself as there is a big shared kitchen, but consider that the next supermarket is a little drive from the guest house. Since the guest house is a few kilometers away from the next town, you basically have the bays of the sea to yourself. Enjoy sandy beaches and crystal clear water.
