I booked a private room and it was clean and so spacious. It was nice to have AC as well. The hostel is located just a 10-minute walk from the malecón and El Taco Loco is just a couple of blocks away.
3.0
Location is good, few minutes walk from the main street. If you taking a water taxi to Belize, it is great location, just 10 minutes walk from there. The private room was big.
We stayed at the private room and the mattress wasn’t nice, it was in a good shape, felt uncomfortable. The was two windowns facing the aile. Other one, in the bathroom was open and you couldn’t close it, so there lot of noise comming from everywhere. Pricey for the quality. Bring cash, because there were extra charges for the card payment.

Great place to stay.

The lady working at the hostel was really nice and welcoming, with great advices. The shared kitchen and roof are really great. The double room was cosy, with AC and towels. We found the quality really good for the price. And the free coffee on the morning is a nice touch.

Great location and super friendly at reception.
When paying at check-in we wanted to pay in MXN (the local currency) but because the price was already converted to USD he then had to convert it back again and because of this we seemed to lose out a bit. Also the room was really nicely presented, but the AC didn't work properly (cold air then warm air) and the bed a bit firm.

spacious room and hostel
staff great
,
bit small shower/bathroom and not always hot water

WOW, That was the biggest bed I ever slept in. I stayed in a private room and the bed was huge. Impressive.
Maybe they could organise some activities for their guests. just a suggestion.

Staff were really helpful, room was spacious and clean, comfy bed, not far from the port to Caye Caulker, good for transiting through
Felt a little bit dated, walls quite thin

The staff were great! Liked the chicken doorbell. The common rooms were nice.

Pretty nice place, close to the int'l ferry to Belize, quite far from the main ADO station but close to ADO central, where you can get cheap transport to Bacalar/Mahahual. Very basic dorms, towels for rent, kitchen available, rooftop was really cool! They sell beer & water, but there is a free water refill as well. Dorms have lockers, probably a bit tight, but they do the job. Credit card accepted at an additional fee of 3 or 4%,I forgot, but not a big deal.
They let guests waiting for night buses to hang around and use all the facilities, which is really awesome and as an avid traveller I was really happy they are so hospitable!
I think they serve free coffee but I left too early, so, not sure
Staff was helpfull and informative (Omar).
Showers had no place to put toiletries, a small rack would be welcome. Also, some soap dispensers for the bathrooms would be nice. Still, a great place if you have to spend a night in Chetumal.
4.5
Kind, helpful staff | great location, just a few blocks from the pier (water taxi from Belize) | clean and quiet | solid WiFi | hot shower and good water pressure, soap dispenser | filtered water and coffee provided | good-sized lockers provided | didn't have pesos at check-in (banks were closed); allowed to pay next day after banks opened (greatly appreciated) | dorm room was air conditioned at night (9pm - 9am) | good mattress, slept well | nice guests, good hostel vibe |
Masking tape in the kitchen would make it easier to mark guest food | everything else was great
4.5
Very relaxed friendly place. Helpful staff. A nice place to chill out.
No real negatives. Some new pans in the kitchen would help but otherwise quite happy.

Amazing and very helpful people at the reception desk, great location - walking distance to the harbour, comfy room.
The place was a bit noisy during night (street noise), so bring some earplugs. :)

Good price and location in Chetumal. There are many information from the staffs.
The front desk is closed after 10 pm so that I could not check-in on the first day when I arrived.

All staff was amazing, super friendly and helpfull!!
Location is good.
Nice roofterazze
Overpriced, chanced de price from the app too, so a bit scammy definitely
Tried to change my booking but owner does not respond to any messages/calls so its not "flexible booking".
Showers are awefull.
Beds are very uncomfortable
There is a lady working hard and cleaning a lot but its still dirty and smells weird, especially bathroom.
Coffee in the morning but no tea
Ferry belize doesnt go tuesday/thursday so I could have stayed in bacalar
2.0
the fact that you could use the kitchen to cook
the pictures of the room didn’t represent the reality. it looked much better on camera than in reality
3.0
The receptionist was very friendly and helped me to figure out how to go to Belize.
It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the AC was working and the rooms had lockers, the rooftop was nice
Not a great location, there is nothing around (no supermarkets, nice restaurants or bars)
The bathroom is very small for 4 people and there is no separation between the shower and the rest so it gets rapidly flooded as you share it between 6 people.
Nothing to hang clothes in the rooms, no bin

Great location
The owners is super helpful and helped me figure out how to get to Caye Caulker
Very large room with good sized lockers
Room AC is not on all the time only overnight but temperature is controlled by guest via a remote
The toilet didn't flush a few time
Only one toilet/shower per 6 person dorm
There's coffee at breakfast but no food

The staff gave me a very family like experience, they gave me the best information on how to cross the border! I just had one night in this place, but I found very nice people to go to Belize together. If you are coming from Belize or planing to go there, this is the place to be.

Fantastic staff, super friendly, supper chatty. Which I always love! Feels more welcoming when you can become friends with whoever is on staff.
The bunk beds were comfortable. The kitchen was relatively clean. And had some nice seating areas to meet other travellers and chat. Overall a very welcoming hostel.
The only thing I could say that wasn't exactly the best would maybe be the bunk beds. They are comfortable, but get a little drunk and you may fall off them. A side bar is always welcome bonus for top bunks.

The staff was nice but the room had mould and smelled a lot to mould and closed space. The room was full of ants too and the shower did not look very clean.

- very close to the Ferry to San Pedro-Caye Caulker (which is running again!)
- good location all over
- amazing view over Chetumal from the Rooftop of the Hostel
- very cheap price
GREAT PEOPLE!!! We just stayed one night and had a blast with all the guests and staff on the Rooftop. They also have a grill and a bar up there for the high season when there’s enough guests :)
Staff is also highly helpful about close-by restaurants, supermarkets and info on the ferry.
- oh and important for Mexico: English is not a problem at all! Sergio speaks it fluently and so do the other guys.
It was just great!
The private room was sufficient for 1-2 nights, I wouldn’t recommend staying in there for longer. Can‘t tell for the dorms though!

Cool room
Not much info from staff about crossing border and travel recommendations

Nice and clean hostel..friendly stuff. Nice and big rooms. Internet was good. Well equipped kitchen. Free coffee. Good location. Only downside the toilet flush - needs an improvement.

I stayed in a private room at the hostel. The room was exactly as seen in the photos. Bed was huge and comfortable. There is a shared kitchen, lounge area and rooftop area. The staff is awesome, especially Frisvy who was very helpful and friendly.
Everything with the facility was above my expectations. The hostel is a little hard to find, there is a gate to enter and exit.
4.5
Lovely hostel, clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful! One staff member in particular gave us a lot of info on how to travel to Belize which was so useful.
Only bad thing was the shower was too cold when I showered and then too hot when my friend showered straight after!
4.0
Nice and laid back hostel, people workinng there are really kind and I met some awesome people over there. Rooftop terrace is a big plus too.
That the air conditioning is only allowed on between 9pm-9am even though it' extremely hot outside
