It was a terrible stay! They had an event going on with music blasting through the whole hotel until 1:00 am in the morning and would do nothing about it. Even though they advertise all through the hotel that “quiet time” is from 10pm). It was horrible, zero sleep and no way to rest at all and the management and staff did absolutely nothing. There are plenty of other good places to stay, I would absolutely not recommend this place, as they do nothing to make sure you have a good place to rest and enjoy your stay.

The room was nice and very clean. Breakfast was really good and the staff really helpful and friendly
Room was facing back of the hotel and it was a bit noisy in the evening - humming and banking from ventilation pipes.

location and was clean
expensive compared to other places and i have extensively travelled Iceland. Food in restaurant was nice but over priced.
I had originally booked for 2 nights but due to family issues and then the weather only wanted 1 night. They refused to refund the second night and other email’s after that they ignored. All other hotels had been really helpful and these were not. I would not stay again.

I was able to walk the 4 km from airport. Located right b the church. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and very good value. The staff were fantastic. I got snowed in when my plane was cancelled. Great to stay another night.

Everything was good. Unfortunately our stay was only one night. Wish we had stayed longer. Akureyri is a lovely town. Breakfast was very good.
The only downside was that there was an odor in the bathroom, perhaps sewer gas. Luckily the bathroom door shut tight so the odor did not creep into the rest of the room.

I had mistakenly booked a twin bed room and the staff helped us switch to a double bed at check in. The room was good and the hotel easily accessible. We had the best meal of the trip here, the dinner options were delicious and very well prepared.

We booked the 2 rooms over half a year before the trip, when we arrived they took us to a back entrance in an alley as if it belonged to neighbors and did not belong to the hotel, this is the feeling we had, the rooms were on the road, everyone passing by on the street was in our room, we had to close the blackout curtains, we could not open a window for air, At night, the noise was unbearable, and it was suffocating in the room, we couldn't sleep, in the morning we got to the dining room or from outside in the rain, take a coat, gloves, a hat, or a long way up the stairs, take the elevator, go down the stairs and go looking for the dining room more correctly, for breakfast no longer He added, don't take rooms 013+014, a big disappointment, the hotel was full, even in groups, so they probably shoved us into a back hole in the hotel

Breakfast was not a good standard.
There were not many choices and tbe quality was poor. Not with the $20 per head that we paid for it .
The beds were not very comfortable. The bathroom was small and the water emitted a sulphur like smell, it was not drinkable.
I would not stay here again

Bed not very comfortable.
Breakfast quality was poor, I asked for the fruit platter to be refreshed as it was very ‘tired’ . Certainly not worth an additional $20 per head .
I would not stay here again
