The bathroom really needs updating and very small

The rooms were spacious and the location cannot be beat!
Our room had a weird smell but did not impact our one night stay.

The location was central and walkable to all the Reykjavik places we were interested in seeing. The room was perfect for us with a loft for our small child to use as a semi private area. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating.
The breakfast was a bit expensive

The Location was brilliant, very close to the main shopping area and the big church just up the road.
There was some dust due to the refurbishment of a nearby room but it wasn't intrusive
8.0 / 10.0
The quality and price of the breakfast buffet. Was way to expensive for the quality and variety of food offered
10.0 / 10.0
Location in the heart of the city
Lack of light in the room (meaning lamps)
9.0 / 10.0
The location was great and the staff was very friendly.
Single beds are high and narrow, scary to fall down at night. Overall, bedding quality could be better, it was from sweating to freezing experience. It is difficult to make the right temperature at room, because of the weird window/curtain design.
6.0 / 10.0
overpriced for what you get (small room, no view, humming air conditioner unit outside, not very welcoming staff)
7.0 / 10.0
Perfect location for a city trip, friendly and engaged staff
Rooms have a strange smell, hair in lavatory and in the shower cabin, bathroom tiny and uncomfortable. This was our last night of the trip. All hotels we stayed before including 1st night in Reykjavík were more clean and had better value for money

Location was the best, staff were nice, the bed ans blanket were very comfy
Sulfur smell of water, I was worried to brush my teeth with the water. The shower urtain wasn't closing well, so was difficult to not get water out of the shower

We were granted an early check-in which was nice. The staff was very nice. The room, however, left much to be desired especially for the price. The location of the hotel was awesome and walking distance to the main areas, shopping, museums, etc. But the room was hot and a teeny window which didn't provide much relief.
Proivde water for guest - that would be nice.

Location was in downtown Reykjavik. Lots of restaurants and bars were nearby. They gave me a nice old fashioned large brass key for my door. It felt like Harry Potter. Clean and comfy stay!

The bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent.
The staff were not very welcoming. The room was well below average for a supposedly 4* hotel. Our room looked tired, old and tatty. The blinds in the room barely covered the window. Renovations are obviously taking place down the hallway, carpet was worn and tiles in bathroom chipped. I can get better for my money in London.

My wife and I loved our stay here. The staff was super helpful and accommodating, everything was very clean, and the in-house restaurant provided a very nice breakfast as well. This hotel also has a great location in the city. I also have to once again thank Gunnar from the front desk. He helped my wife and I out a few times, including going out of his way to help us with an early check in (which we thoroughly appreciated after an all night flight). We highly recommend this hotel!

The location is perfect - close to everything. The staff is very friendly. There was a night when it was very cold. When I complained at the front desk the next day, they went upstairs to fix the problem.

Nothing.

Great location. Hotel is in the middle of town with a lot of restaurants, shopping and the famous church.
Room is quite small with no cupboards, only rods to hang clothes. Bathroom is very tight with small shower area.

Reykjavik is a very nice city to explore. We had a wonderful vacation.
The only drawback to visiting Iceland in February is the weather. Some of the days were just too windy.
7.0 / 10.0
Good location for sightseeing. Friendly staff.
There is no soundproofing between rooms, I heard every sound the neighbors made. The room is very dark with the gray walls and ceiling and dim lights. It may be difficult to find parking.
9.0 / 10.0
Great location, near the centre but in a quite side-street. Comfortable room with all basic I needed.
Low water pressure in the shower

Good central.
