Quiet, modest and clean accomodation that is very practical for explorating the town.

The room was very clean and quiet, good location in the centre of the town.

The accomodation is very modest. So the balance between price and quality is not OK. 103 EUR is too much for that accomodation (and this without breakfast). I would suggest 80 or 90 EUR as a fair price.

A flawless stay in a vibrant location with friendly staff and complimentary coffee.

Flawless cleanliness, spacious and cozy rooms make for a delightful stay. The staff's warmth and eagerness to assist enhance the overall experience. Peccato...

La posizione centrale che ha permesso di visitare tutto il centro a piedi.

La struttura, camera al quarto piano senza ascensore (non segnalato ), camere sicuramente da ristrutturare e con scarsa pulizia, colazione non all'altezza del costo con prodotti da supermercato, gestione da parte dell'host molto approssimativa. Peccato perché in ottima posizione.

La ubicación, en pleno centro.

Hay que subir muchísimas escaleras para llegar a la habitación, con maletas es un incordio. No estaba muy limpio, ni el baño ni la habitación. Incluso diría que no habían cambiado el edredón. El wifi no funcionaba.

The location was good.

Staircase is very loud (carpet might help?), no information about breakfast. More generally about its location, you are not warned it is in a low emission zone which for one night stay add €70 to the price if you are driving.

The hostel is very well located and clean. The staff is friendly

Mosquitoes bite me a lot and I cannot sleep though I close the window (and of course it is very hot in summer, no A/C). When I get up in the morning, I found many red dots on my body due to them

I would definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone staying central in Ghent!

This is a cute hidden gem of a hotel. Very central location, everything was walkable! Dina is so so nice and helpful. She gave us a whole list of places to check out! The bathtub is very nice and clean. And there was a balcony!

The wifi had a weak signal in our room

Good value for money

Location is central, all the tourist attractions within walkable distance. Check out at 11 is a bit too early.

Location is far away from the railway station difficult to locate for the novice. Room size is small, needs more furniture & space to keep luggage. Check in at 3.00pm is late. However that's the practise all over Europe, it seems.

perfect location to visit the citiy center

The location is perfect, right in the center of Gent. The cosy room was under the roof (yes, there are a few stairs to climb, but that was okay for me) with a little balcony, pretty quite even with the window open. Good alternative to the more expensive hotels in the area. I did not book any breakfast, so there was no breakfast - good to know. There are some cafes in the are that can be utilized to get your morning coffee.

Perfect for a night's stay

The location of the hotel was very good, in the city centre, but also without having noise troubles. There was no breakfast provided to us. We saw coffee and tea around but we did not have breakfast there. The hotel is unique as it is an old mansion renovated to serve as a hotel. I would recommend it for a night's stay.

Quite old inside. It is an old mansion, but I would expect it to be more modern inside. Other than that, everything was fine.

Pretty nice place

The location was perfect, really close to all kind of stores and the staff was very kind and welcoming, she helped me with a lot of information about the city

I saw some stains on the bed sheets and the kettle was dirty and full of old tea leafs

Simply NOT Okay

Everything is old and worn down and that can have charm but here it was simply not okay ! The owner apparently lives in the building and the smell of prepared fish was very present. There was mold in the bathroom and dirt in the drain - Every step you take the floor doesn't squeak but really cracks In our room we simply didn't feel comfortable to even touch things but the bed was the worst. That was not clean. The bedspread was too big and draped on the floor and clearly been stepped on several times but never cleaned. Same with the fabric of the edge of the bed. That was just plain dirty We decided not to spend the night and actually left as thieves in the night ... These people are not cut out to run a place like this. That's the simple truth

it is a lovely spot to stay close to city centre, great for a couple.

location was great, really homely feel, cute balcony and a very comfortable bed.

hall way was very dark at night, there a lot of stairs so if you have heavy luggage you may struggle to take up, stuff could of been more helpful on local knowledge and things to do

It is very close to the center of gante. The staff is great they help you with everything. The room is very clean and they give you te and coffee. Loved it.

Very good

Good location, a walking distance from the apartment to the central area. The bedroom is very spacious and clean. Dina is very responsive in answering my questions. She cleared out the garbage bins in the room everyday. Good to have a small fridge and an electric kettle. It's a good exercise for us to walk up the stairs to our room which I think is the top floor. :) We enjoyed our stay.

I would prefer if the pillows are a little thicker. That's just my preference. :)
