did not have breakfast, bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean.
There is an issue with the lamps in the main room they need to be renewed. there was a very squeaky wardrobe door, but I have solved that with some oil.

Very large and comforable bed in a well-fitted out room! En-suite bathroom and plenty of space generally. Hot breakfast options cooked to order, and was allowed to park at the property before check-in.

Everything. The staff were great. Close to a bus stop for a quick ride into Oxford. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The Conifers is sited on the main road and easy to park. We actually parked next door as we had a very large 7seater vehicle and the access was easier. Just have to watch out for cyclists on cycle path parallel to pavement.
We stayed here because it was close proximity to Churchill Hospital.
Good shopping facilities in Headington a short drive away.
The room was scrupulously clean and beds extremely comfortable with cotton sheets separate to the duvet. Very nice.
The shower tray in the bathroom however, was a good nine inches step up from the floor and the tray itself when wet was very slippery with nothing to hold on to. The soap/shampoo holder was situated high up and neither me nor my daughter could reach it. So shampoo/soap had to go on floor of shower.
There was no fire escape/ assembly information on the bedroom door, the proprietor said it had come off and he hadn’t had chance to replace it.
There was no information pack in the room so we relied on Google to find our way around for places to eat and local shops. I did see some information on the wall downstairs outside the dining room but once the dining room door was open this was hidden. The dining room door seemed to be locked at certain times and you had to ring a bell to see anyone. There is no cooked breakfast as such, just continental or scrambled eggs and toast. (As we didn’t have breakfast here can’t comment on the quality.

Very ideal for a family trip. Cozy rooms and good location for the city centre. Never disappoints

Receptionist was welcoming and pleasant. Room and bathroom were clean. Tea making facility, TV and hairdryer worked fine.
Only 2 of the 6 or so lights (spotlights) were working in my room so dim atmosphere and couldn't read in bed. Shower was the worst thing about my stay. It started off with low pressure but once I'd put shampoo on (after 1-2 mins), it faded to a trickle and only ran cold. Then water stopped completely and had to use sink to wash. Interrupted sleep: woke at 12:30am by other guests having shower (not sure if this was an extractor fan noise or shower). Then again at 5am as curtains didn't block out light. 9am housekeeping knocked, which was rather early for a Sunday. Decor in room was dated, esp. old wooden bed. But I was in one of the cheapest single rooms and other rooms on website looked ok.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Conifers House. Pleasantly greeted by the staff and the rooms were spacious, great for a family of 4. Bathroom was clean and the place was a good distance from the city centre. Overall a lovely place for a short weekend break.

We really enjoyed our stay at Conifers Guest House. The room was great and we were able to park for free right outside. Having a little kitchenette was a bonus too. The bed was super comfortable. We both slept like logs. Breakfast was also great. The hosts were lovely and friendly. They made us feel very welcome. We really couldn’t fault it and will definitely book again in the future.
We liked everything.

Very clean room, delicious breakfast. Free parking . There was a table, glasses, microwave and plates etc in room.
The double bed had two single mattresses pushed together, one of which was lumpy, so uncomfortable.

Breakfast was tasty but a greater number of toasts should be provided. Bed sheets were clean and bed was comfortable. Receptionist was friendly.
Property is starting to become run down. The carpets were stained and shower pod wasn't 100% clean. The kettle was rusty. Location of the property is far from the train station but it is a 3 min close walk from the bus stop on bus no. 15.

Hard beds
Although free parking is a bonus and we do look for this when staying away the car park at the back particularly for larger vehi les is very very tight. Looked as if a few scraped their cars.

Perfectly comfortable. Good value especially with breakfast.
I could hear the man who checked me in moaning about it being late and that I had a car ( my brother dropping me off)before he opened the door when I was earlier than I had arranged.
