Warm friendly welcome from our hosts. Very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us make the most of our few days in the area. Room in historic family home.was superb and spotlessly clean. Amazing breakfast to get you started for the day. Central walkable location. Highly recommend staying here.Thank you for hosting us! Best bnb in our 4 months of travel:)

This is an old-world elegant bed and breakfast that was actually featured in a national magazine. The owners are gracious and welcoming. We were even lent a book to better fill in the history of the battles that took place in Flanders.
The breakfast we were served was exceptional. Fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee, breadbasket, butter, jellies, yogurt, eggs and bacon any way you want them, you couldn't ask for more. If you would like to stay in a beautiful home, close to everything that is a great value, then definitely book a room here. The location is just down the street from the old square and is easy to navigate from to visit the area surrounding the city. We were there to visit historic WWI sites. You cannot go wrong with this bed and breakfast.
Nothing!

The welcome, the location, comfortable spacious room and delicious breakfast. Very gracious hosts
Nothing, it was an excellent stay

The accommodation was absolutely lovely, the hosts were delightful and very welcoming, giving us lots of information about places to visit.
There wasn't any parking outside, and we had to leave our car a little way off. This was not a problem for us, but perhaps could have been made clearer in the description. This would not us stopping there again.

Wonderful hosts. Couldn't ask for better. Close to train station. Lovely breakfast. Beautiful accommodation.
I found the shower tricky and the bathroom floor creaky. But these were minor problems.

Superb B&B. Lovely property.

Very nice bed&breakfast in the centre of Ypres, with friendly and helpful owners. We had a nice room with a very spacious bathroom in a house that is well equipped but has kept its character from the early 20th century. Breakfast is great, was tailored to our wishes and included some homemade marmelades that we appreciated a lot. We will go back to Ypres, and we will stay at the same place for sure !
If something needs to be improved, in a city so close to France there must be a baker that makes even better croissants. But that is really a small detail !

Another great stay, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The whole building is brilliant and makes the stay so enjoyable. The breakfast was spot on and its a 2 min walk to the town centre. Whats not to like

Absolutely loved the location, centre to Ypres with everything in walking distance.
Great hospitality, we was made to feel very welcome. Lots of history and general knowledge of the area and surrounding areas.
Bedroom was extremely clean and tidy, very spacious with all the basic necessities.
Breakfast was exactly what you need to start your day with fresh cooked eggs and bacon, continental options on the side.
You can park close by but it has its timing restrictions. If you want to park for free for longer periods then its about an 8 minute walk away.
If you are driving its a very easy place to miss, sinage isn't obvious.
Nothing huge and wouldn't deter me from staying again.

A lovely building in a great location, an easy walk to the town centre. The hosts were very
welcoming and helpful, and served up an excellent breakfast.

Amazing place! Hosts were helpful, friendly and Steven is extremely knowledgeable on WW1 and local history and was never too busy to answer our many questions. Breakfast was plentiful and nothing seemed to be any trouble. Our room was beautiful, clean and had everything we could ever need. There was a fridge under the stairs where bottled water was we could help ourselves. Location was superb, on a quiet back street with a 5 minute walk into market square, parking on road outside and Steven gave us a parking permit to use while we were there. We will definitely come back.
I really cannot think of anything I would change.

Very friendly welcome, lovely spacious room, fabulous breakfast. Owners couldn't do more for you. Advice re attractions and places to eat.
Perfect location to explore Ypres and surrounding areas.
Beware, the rooms are top floor if the house if stairs are a problem for you.

Simply wonderful. If you're looking to stay in a beautiful house, centrally located but quiet, with comfy beds and a lovely breakfast then look no further. Best of all are the generous hosts who were happy to tell us some of their family history. It added another layer to our understanding of the history of Ypres.

A wonderful historic building in the centre of Ypern, with beautifully decorated rooms. Each room has a unique style , ours faced the calm courtyard, was bright and had a huge bathroom. The owners offered plenty of excellent advice on take away food (due to the pandemic many places were closed) and even prepared a lovely dinner table for us. The breakfast was delicious and all our wishes could be fulfilled. We couldn't have imagined a better place to spend a night and can only recommend it.

Hospitality and service was impeccable. We look forwards to returning.

Best B & B ever. Katrin and Stephen are absolute stars, great hosts and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. Absolutely stunning house with its old style. The bedroom was a treat to see and sleep in. A real pleasure to stay. What a breakfast!!! Stephen is also an expert on the construction of the Menin Gate and will only be too happy to share his knowledge. As Terminator said in the film...I WILL BE BACK.
Not one single bad word.
