Misschien de metalen buiten trap om tot het appartementje te geraken, maar anders niets

Ideal location for our trip
He said he upgraded us to another room.
Pillows to soft didn't sleep well.
No baking tray so couldn't cook what we wanted. Oven was confusing as had old dials for hobs.
Floor was dirty.
The arm chairs are old, not comfortable and the arms had warm away.
Even with the windows open it was still hot in there.

It was not the unit that was advertised. It was noisy with car and people traffic outside the windows. It was not well equipped and we had to buy dish soap and coffee. You had to climb steep stairs to get up to the bedroom. The host was nice.
The shower is so small that when you turn around in it you bump the water control valve into the extreme hot position. My wife bumped her head several times going up or down the stairs. (And she’s only 5’3”.

Bernard the owner was so helpful. He arranged an early check and upgraded my stay. He was available to answer any questions . The apartment had every facility i needed for my stay in particular a very well equipped kitchen . The bed was also comfortable and the area is quiet yet near to the centre of Ypres .

Lokatie is perfect midden in de stad.
Gehorigheid maar dat is normaal in een stad.

This is our eighth visit to Ypres and we always look for appartments run by Bernard first where possible. Bernard was as always very attentive with the booking in process and gave clear instruction both verbally and via documentation being sent well before our arrival. Along with this Bernard then catching up with us at a time that fitted in with our own plans after we had checked in (We arrived later than exspected) to ensure we had everything we needed and the appartment along with the check in process were to our satisfaction made our stay very relaxing. The housekeeping team also follow the same ethos and made sure the appartment was presented to a high standard, even giving assistance when we fully unpacked the car in the morning.
Thank you Bernard and your housekeeping team.

Good location.
Had to pay with cash for some reason, host kept wanting to meet to take the cash, we were on a busy schedule and that wasn't possible for us. No mention made prior to arrival about that or we could have gotten such a substantial amount of cash out prior to arrival.
There are no curtains in the main room so having a shower in daylight is advised or you need the lights off or everyone can see in. The shower head was loose and kept sliding down the rail which I had to fix temporarily with a plaster.
Parking situation isnt made clear, we had no blue zone parking badge so had to hunt for spots or wait until the blue zone time limits ran out.
There are no hooks to hang coats on so it's either drape over a chair or hang up wet in the wardrobe.

Good location, quiet and comfortable with a good host.

Great location. Bedroom great. parking quite easy once you obtain a key card from the info centre at Cloth Hall. wifi super fast but only if you connect to “ext” if you are in apartment #1.
Stairs were awful. 6 flights of 10 steps with heavy luggage and bad knees. Lounge unusable- really u comfortable chairs, needs a sofa and smaller dining table. Shower frustrating - hot water possible if shower only turn on at half power, but fittings so cheap they just fall apart.

This is a lovely, clean and quiet good sized apartment with separate kitchen/sitting room, bathroom and bedroom., ideal for one or two people. It is fully furnished for a self catering visit.
It is located within easy walking distance from the station and the centre of the village where you'll find a good range of eateries. The owner was in touch before I arrived and the key handover was easy.
It's not a criticism, but if you struggle with stairs you might wish to contact the owner and see if they have other properties either in the apartment complex or nearby that might be more suited to your needs.

Quiet accommodation which mostly suited my needs.
Open to the elements metal access & exit staircase. When wet I slipped & fell down the final two or three steps. Just glad it didn't occur at the upper steps.

The rooms are situated in the heart of Heidelberg old town, within easy walking distance of the old castle and with easy access by public transport to Heidelberg main railway station, so exploring the wider Neckar Valley region is easy.
The room was nicely appointed and very clean.
The room and bathroom was fine for a solo traveller. It has a full range of facilities such as cooking and eating utensils.

Good location, friendly owner, good value for money,
The outside metal staircase to reach the apartment were steep and slippy,
The actual accommodation could do with some kinda sofa instead of the bucket chairs for extra comfort..

The host and his son are wonderful people to know. They go out of their way to help you and ensure you are comfortable.
It helps to have the kitchen basics - salt, pepper, sugar - even some washing machine tablets, for road travellers coming from far away.

A great little place for excursions in the town of Ieper! Very very warm when we were there, so the apartment became very warm. There is a fan to use, luckily, but a bit to warm when the sun is hot. I will come back!

Location was excellent
During our stay we had no hot water and when we contacted the owner we were told to check the boiler in the garage. Not necessary to have a large dining table and chairs and also a sofa would of been better than the 2 chairs. Also no oven trays and no dish drainer.

Perfect central location for visit to British WW1 memorials and cemeteries and to attend the burial of a soldier of my Regiment missing in 1917.
All my requirements were met and parking was no problem .

Location perfect short walk to town square and the menin gate some great bars to try Belgium beer.
The host Bernard was great he was there on arrival to greet us. You have his number in case of any problems, we had a problem with the heating and we called him he arrived within 5 minutes of the call and it was sorted within 10 minutes excellent service.
You are given a parking disk on arrival that allows three hours of free on street parking a day between 9am and 6 pm on the streets. This applies throughout this area so be aware of this, It is a bit inconvenient but we found free parking available within a 5 minute walk of this apartment. But we were always able to park outside the Appartment after 6 for the night.
We would return here again and would recommend the Appartment it was clean, warm good value for money and ideal as a base to explore the area. Also there is free English channels on the TV which helped during the time we were in the Appartment.
Stairs are outside and metal but they are manageable you just have to be a bit more careful than internal stairs and watch where you are going as the staircase base is low as you go through door also be careful of the vents from boilers that come out from the wall side.
We were there for a week and felt that if staying this long it would benefit from a mid week visit to change shower towels and top up with bin bags and loo roll,as we were left with one of each I think you get the same if you are there for any length of stay so we ended up having to top up and buy loo roll bin bags etc we would have taken some with us had we known.
