I stayed in a room with five other people. The bed and room were good. The staffs were very friendly.
The wifi signal was super weak (sometimes there was even no signal) in my room.

Location is not too bad . Just outside the main area 10 minute walk to China town and few more minutes to the main high street . Room was spacious and beds was comfy . Could open the window but air con would be ideal . Room was hot with 6 of us sharing . Cycle storage in the basement was excellent
Staff seemed a bit miserable . Not much of a selection of drinks at the bar

Unbeatable for the price, good hostel

The location was good. We found a parking spot in front of the building. But it cost 2,5 EUR/hour. The staff was very helpful.
The bedsheets were clean, but you have to make your own bed.
The room (4 people) was very small. Not enough space at all. The street in front of the building was full of rubbish.

Good location
Great staff
Not the best soundproofing of rooms, so you may hear noises from the street or from the room's corridor. Earplugs recommended.

friendly staff, comfortable beds and a great cafe for food and drink throughout the day.

Nothing
A huge list of rules, you can't even eat the food you want since you can only eat the overpriced food they sell at the lobby.
Night staff very rude. Asked her to stay on an upper bed, she didn't care and told me I would have to ask someone to switch beds with me (it was 1AM when I arrived!), then I confirmed the room was fully booked - "sure", she replied. When I get to room there were two free upper beds and no one else arrived afterwards.
Lockers very noisy.
Toilets inside the room so everyone is listening to what you're doing.
They don't even bother doing your bed despite the high prices.

Clean, enough room in the dorm
The bed is bad, I slept at upper bunk.
Every time the man on the lower bunk move then the whole bed shakes together
Hard to sleep for the whole night…

No problems leaving baggage before check in. Friendly receptionists at bag drop and check out. Prompt response to messages sent in advance. Room was a nice temperature (even checking in after 11pm). Was nice to have a proper single bed instead of a bunk bed in my private twin room. Clean bathroom, hot shower, extremely quiet and peaceful.
I asked at the point of bag drop if it would be a problem returning to check in late (the hostel was a 20 minute walk from Paard where I was attending Grauzone Festival). I didn't feel like dropping my bag off at the hostel, walking to collect my Grauzone wrist band, walking back to the hostel to check in, then going back to the festival. (I avoid public transport where I can as I prefer to walk). The receptionist was reassuring. I also sent a message through the app to ensure my room wasn't given away as a 'no-show'. When I checked in (before midnight), a security guard was tasked with the job. She seemed new as I had to explain the baggage room situation to her (no complaints about her as she was friendly and helpful, doing her best). She handed me my key and said 'bed 1'. I said, I'm in a private room, what difference does it make what bed I sleep in? She then said that although it was unlikely anyone else would be sharing my room "it wouldn't be her fault if they were". Hardly reassuring! She later got a colleague to help her and he should have been been there to check me in. (He seemed to tease her a bit about the baggage room key card which seemed unkind to me). She also wasn't sure whether my towel would be in my room (the hostel actually sent me a pre-arrival form to fill in where I confirmed I wanted a towel but it was up to me to assert this at check in). I also wasn't told I needed to bring my towel (and presumably my sheets?) down the following morning but the boy who checked me out was kind about this. Oh, and the bathroom floods due to them not providing a shower curtain. They actually leave a sweeping brush in the bathroom so you can mop up your own flood which you have to do or you'd be wading through water every time you wanted to use the loo/brush your teeth.

Lockers are large (but sadly not free).
No lunch or food during the day in the cafeteria. They close the lounge midnight unlike their hostel in Rotterdam, so i couldn't stay when i was sleepless.
No soap/gel in the showers!
