Die Unterkunft war sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich, das Frühstück sehr lecker

Das Zimmer war zwar sehr gut, wurde leider nur teilweise gereinigt. Ebenfalls waren die Fenster sowie die Türe schlecht isoliert, daher konnte man gut hören was draussen los war.

Great location. Excellent staff. Joy to stay here.

Loved this hotel. I would recommend it for overseas visitors. The staff were the best part of our stay. Room was really lovely and enjoyed staying here. Great place to stay if you want to be a bit out of Galway.

All in all pleasant but from a value for money perspective, it wasn;'t quite worth it.

Breakfast excellent and location fine but admit I was expecting a property overlooking the sea. It wasn't. It is situated along a busy road but thankfuly our room was at the back overlooking a car park (not great but at least not noisy).

It was expensive and may sound minor but having no snacks at bar seemed odd (peanuts, crisps etc).

It was good.

Comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast

Small bath . Hard to get in and out for a shower. Could have done with walk in shower . If you just wanted a drink in the evening there was no space to sit. All taken up with reserved tables for food.

Glorious time at the Twelve hotel

We had a wonderful eating experience at The West restaurant the service the food and delightful Fergus on the wine selection, Truly magical The breakfast was superb the staff serving were exceptional

Was like a home away from home.

Complimentary warm juice drink on arrival, handwritten welcome card on arrival, shortbreads in my room….all made for a lovely welcome.

Would definitely return!

Very friendly staff, great food, great bar, great breakfast, brilliant location. Outstanding massage.

Starting to look a tiny bit shabby decor wise, the bathroom had no heating and no towel rail.

Absolutely excellent experience,would highly recommend.

Room was stunning. Staff were extremely helpful,approachable and friendly. The dining experience was next to none,simply amazing. On checkout we received complimentary coffees for our trip home. We most definitely will be back.

Fine stay with more exciting food than lodging

The location and the food here were probably the best part of staying. Outside of that, I cannot think of a whole lot that distinguishes this place from any other multi-star hotel and I don't think the experience demands the price.

For what we paid we were given a mundane experience compared to my expectations. The room was big but did not offer much in way of luxury as the price and reviews would lead you to believe. Sporting an empty bar and seating area, a record player and robes and slippers it appears fancy on face value but doesn't really deliver in practice. The bathroom with seaweed spa was a tub and shower head/wand attachment that had a way too short glass panel as the only separation, so it was easy to get water everywhere and the €18 limp bag of seaweed (if opened) didn't really sell the experience either. Perhaps hard to describe, but the luxuriousness they try to sell you on comes across as hollow and uninspired. Maybe I just needed to spend more money!

gréât hôtel, gréât food thank you for our stay

we loved this hotel, lots of quirky welcoming touches, great day to day restaurant and great ‘posh’ restaurant

one niggle was that there was a problem with housekeeping - we only got bed made, no tidying or replenishing once, next day nothing, day after nothing. we loved the hotel though but that needs attention

Exceptional

Had a very enjoyable two night stay at the Twelve. Room was spacious and comfortable. Restaurants good - excellent dinner at West - with friendly efficient service. We had to leave to early for breakfast service and were provided with take out coffee which was a nice touch.

I was pleased to find a turntable and some vinyl records in our room - unfortunately neither were in full working order - a nice idea but not well executed.

Good choice if you are looking for a quiet place to stay away from Galway City.

Interesting decor of mixed modern and vintage.

Poor drainage in tub. We stood in a pool of soap water every time we showered. West restaurant was also closed during our stay and the food in the pub did not meet our standards.

The Twelve is a wonderful hotel and I would happily stay again

Beautiful location, beautiful hotel, and a beautiful room. The staff were wonderful, extremely friendly and ready to help. I also visited the spa during my stay and it was exceptional

Some of the spaces in the car park were tricky to park in but not impossible.
