Very happy with our stay, with good value for money,& friendly atmosphere.

Fine. Spotlessly clean. Fresh towels each day.

The mattress was a bit too soft for our aging backs! And the person next to the wall had difficulty getting out of bed during the night. However the size of the room makes it hard to overcome this.

A pleasant idea that is evident in how you feel life passing in solace, C'est La Vie.

C'est La Vie radiates the true sense of Albany's scenic ecology. It's a comfy place, well-organised, reasonably priced, and well-maintained. I enjoyed my time there, and I found it a tourist spot in itself!

For a little extra, the deluxe room was the way to go, your own entry and TV in the room There was lot of information to take in, but it was easy enough to scope the place with it so you know where is what and what to do. Loved the peaceful view at the back, the garden and birds around the house. Everything was organised for you on the time. Pity I was on my own this time, next time will take my wife with me. Not sure if the owner was living at the house at the time because it was really quite! Close to everything, Easy peasy lemon squeezy

The room was comfortable, warm and clean. Great choice for breakfast all diets catered for. Host extremely helpful and friendly. There is a fish n chip restaurant walking distance that had amazing food, it's also only 5 minutes to the town centre for other restaurants.

All great, first time airbnb users needing 2 bedrooms & kitchen,working out keys etc., Deb catered for diet needs, walking distance to evening meals.

The most unfriendly place I’ve ever stayed.

the location and rooms are lovely and there is a lot of “extras” that are nice touches.

There are WAY too many rules that are WAY too complicated and made us feel particularly unwelcome. one has to continually refer back to the “compendium” of rules (8 pages!) to figure out when one is allowed to use what facility. A tent at the caravan park would have been more welcoming - even with the rain!

Comfortable 4-night stay.

The King room has a very comfortable bed, cupboard space and a window seat and single chair. Breakfast on the ocean facing verandah was lovely. Choice of cereals, bread, fruit and yoghurt and plenty of coffees and teas to choose from.

I thought the King room had its own ensuite but it was a shared bathroom. All very clean though.

Lovely time in Albany, brilliant accommodation made it special for the 3 of us.

Fantastic place to stay, exceptionally clean, fresh towels every day, excellent variety for breakfast each day. Deb is a brilliant host, very friendly - I’d recommend staying at C’est La Vie to anyone who appreciates quality.

Personally an en-suite room ,but if that’s not important to you it’s fantastic value and location.

The breakfast was ok,self serve using the host’s cereals,milk etc. There was a vast selection of fancy tea bags but I had difficulty finding a plain breakfast variety. The location,room,bed,internet,parking was excellent. Towels were the best ever and were changed following use each day.

A list of do’s and dont’s such as remove shoes on entering the host’s home,but by doing that my sox picked up dust etc from the path. A shared bathroom which I didn’t realise so wouldn’t have booked because of that,but it didn’t matter as we were the only guests. We would have preferred tea or coffe in the room,but this wasn’t allowed. This lady loves her home and garden but doesn’t want guests possibly spoiling it,something she ought to expect…fair wear and tear.

We have stayed at this property before. It’s perfect for a couple of nights in Albany when all you need is somewhere to sleep and, if you choose have breakfast. The property is well maintained. We particularly like the room with the private entry as we can come and go without disturbing others.
