We adored our stay at Villa Tamara - it checked all the boxes! The staff were very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The panoramic ocean views, the calming/natural aesthetic, the sun deck and ocean access were all heavenly! Not to mention the breakfast spread, which I’ll be dreaming about for days to come… the hotel is luxurious and unpretentious and I would definitely book it again!

The location, hotel and views are breathtaking.
It’s very peaceful and not crowded. The food was 10/10! The room was clean, fresh and good quality. The stuff was very friendly and welcoming. Very efficient. Special thanks to Eray for making sure everything was perfect, also checking in and giving great recommendations during the stay.

All was great!! Tamara Hotel is very charming, the interior decor is really tasteful and cozy while being spacious. Stunning views of the Turquoise Coast, right by the sea. Our room had a beautiful view, a comfortable sofa indoors and a lovely balcony to enjoy the view. Love the bougainvillea throughout the property, really adds to the charm of the property. The pool is big, the restaurant area is very comfortable and again very tasteful and charming as well. I read some reviews that say that the breakfast was not good, and I fully disagree. The breakfast was really, really tasty (great yoghurt with honey!!) and very beautifully presented. The only downside was the ladder to the sea was broken and the beach area was still ‘closed’ for the summer season but that’s really down to going in spring instead of summer. The staff were the best! Eray was brilliant, really making sure we were well taken care of, recommended great restaurants, beaches and delicacies!

Ocean view
Limited staff, cleanliness standards were pretty ordinary.

Staff were friendly and charming. Breakfast was a real high point.
The challenge of having such an incredibly photographed website is that the reality doesn’t quite live up to it. The steps down to the sea, the decking are in poor condition with wobbly crazy paving and the decking in need of an update. The signage to the property could be better. Out taxis sat nav took us the side entrance and we entered the hotel past the bins - a terrible first impression.

The hotel has a beautiful beach and cristal clear, temperate waters. Snorkeling is nice, as are the cocktails at the pool and seaside bar.
It was very clean, not far from the village, very calm. even in high season, you get a seaside sunbed and shades. The waiters are very nice and polite.
Food and beverage is quite pricy, even for such a kind of property, but very tasty.
The restaurant staff is very kind and tries their best. Errors happen and you should be forgiving about that.

I loved all attention and service of the staff . Localization is sensational
There was nothing bad

We liked the buildings themselves, the gardens, the sea... but the rest...
We were looking for a nice getaway but we ended up being annoyed and frustrated by the lack of proper communication, smell in the room (coming from the bathroom drains which we had to cover with a towel), and from being overcharged for things we did not order (so pay attention to the bill).
The hotel rents some of the sun chairs to people from outside. So not everyone at the hotel has a place on the deck by the sea.
Service was extremely slow and confusing for the staff and for us too...
The communication with the staff was very bad. Most of the staff did not speak English and when they did, it was not good.
For something as simple as a beer or a bottle of wine, we had to wait for more than 30 min, despite going to the bar several times to ask
for them. We ended up collecting our own drinks.
We asked if we could have breakfast packed for us on one morning (as we had planned something very early), the management promised to send this breakfast to our room. Breakfast never came!! Despite us going to the kitchen to ask for it.
The management never gave us the internet password, never informed us about the coffees that are part of breakfast and the ones for which they charged extra.
For all the issues - late service, no sun chairs available, lack of ability to communicate properly, the management promised to compensate towards us in a way or another during dinner...Dinner went completely wrong - very annoying to understand anything of what we were ordering, the order taken was wrong so we ended up with things we did not order. Then, we were charged for bringing a bottle of wine from outside the restaurant. They asked us during dinner to pay them for opening this bottle and for bringing us two glasses. This doesn't sound like compensating for the mistakes made!

The seaview is great and everyone in this hotel has a friendly attitude. I remember I was suggested to go to a nearby abandaned hotel to watch the sunset! It was warm to receive this suggestion. the room, the food, the service, everything is wonderful!

Very calm, beautiful hotel surroundings with rooms, halls, restaurant and beach furnished and decorated with very good taste. Restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner/lunch a la card. Breakfast served in hand made nice plates and bowls. Not crowdy, boutique hotel.
Everything was perfect. Probably can recommend to move fans from ac from room balconies somewhere else.

The sea-view available from our room was just breathtaking. We got a beautiful recently-renovated room. The mediterranean breakfast was nice. The garden around the hotel had few wild-growing fruit trees - it was a nice experience to taste few of them. The staff was welcoming and helpful.
We've been there at the end of the season, so not a full menu was available. The LED-lighting of the floor skirting seemed to be installed not in a right way (it was freely hanging-down from below the skirting). The metal ladder going down to the sea was rusty, crooked and not very comfortable to use – I would recommend to replace it.

Fantastic view to the sea. Crystal clear water. Great sun beds on the rock terraces. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner terrace with great views. We had an apartment with sauna and pool. it was the best apartment we ever had. Very stylish and very calm. We felt like being in a holiday within holiday. In this hotel we had the most relaxing days in Turkey.

Wow for the views from the room, from the pool, from the breakfast but the best wow is for the access into the sea right from the property into the most crystal clear water. Plenty of lounges and daybeds down near the bay and you can order food and drinks down there too. The sea was so nice we didn’t use the pool at all. The location of the hotel affords views over the sea and Kastellorizo a Greek island. We loved it. It’s located on Kas peninsula so you need a car to access Kas town for restaurants and to visit other nearby beaches still 5 to 10 min from this hotel.
You need a car if you are going to stay on Kas peninsula but I think many visitors realise this.

The property is stunning. The rooms are lovely but the outdoor facilities are absolutely perfect and the view is out of this world. We had a very peaceful, luxurious stay and loved every minute of it. The staff are all friendly, very attentive, professional and always on hand to help. The food was delicious and we were sort to have to leave.
The only thing I can think of is that the menu would benefit from some vegetarian options. I was limited in what I could eat but my family adored all of their meat options.

Nothing!

great private beach, very nice and polite staff,
new looking rooms
poor breakfast (only Turkish breakfast without Options. no even one sausage or any meat.)

location of Vila, beach, interior design, friendly staff
There’s could be more variety of food choice; the portions of food could be bigger- especially breakfast, in room as we came found broken seat of toilet , curtain hangers as well - and nobody cared to fix it - although the interior design was very elegant, so sorry for that

The facilities at Hotel Tamara are outstanding - the sea-platform and pool are delightful, and the staff can't do enough to help. We loved the cocktails and the bar area too.
Our room was beautiful with a fantastic dual aspect sea view.
The staff kindly helped us drive down the very steep driveway!!
The dinner menu is average and although the quality was good, an improved menu would be welcome at Tamara.
Also, coffee should be included with breakfast - we were shocked to be charged separately for this! (Only instant nescafe or Turkish tea is included).

Nothing.

The pool area and view of the sea were beautiful. Staff were excellent, professional and helpful. Breakfast was superb -what a feast! Rooms were modern, contemporary, spacious and clean. The hotel is located on the peninsular which is very pretty and quiet. We had a car so getting in to the centre of Kas was easy otherwise you would need to get on the bus or order a taxi which are very reasonable. Lovely hotel and very enjoyable stay.
Unfortunately, there is no lift and the stairs can be a little tough in the heat particularly when when walking from sea front decking to our room on the top floor. But don’t let this put you off unless you are elderly or have mobility problem. Lovely hotel!

Location, views and atmosphere are amazing! stylish rooms, sea view, comfortable beach with all you needed equipment. good bar by the way) staff really friendly and attentive. we were trying to not stay all days only in the hotel :)
room’s equipment could be smarter (as for girls there is a lack of shelves and holders. breakfast almost the same everyday day (it is not a buffet, it is a set Turkish style breakfast)

The view from the hotel is amazing and the location is great if you have car.
Waiter are nice and friendly
I never gave any hotels such low rating epecially in Turkey.
Firstly hygiene. If you have OCD then please avoid to come to this hotel. Hair were found all over the floor and I can't be sure what was in the kettle which was black inside. The excuse from the manager is could be the door was open before we checked in. Well, human's hair got fly into the room from the sea ???
Secondly, breakfast options are limited. One type of fruit served only , cheese omelletes, bread, jams and water . That's all. Only vegetarian options. You literally need to pay for everthing else like even coffee.
Additionally, everyday we will be told sorry we didn't have coffee or bread. I will order more tomorrow.
You Don't even get free water like other hotel does.
Not good value after spending over 500 Euro, over 8000 lira for 3 nights , that's what you get !!!
