We had a nice stay with four adults and two children. We found everything we needed at the accommodation. The flat is very cental, Hallgrimskirkja is only five minutes away.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ulli was a great communicator and I appreciate the service we were given!

My friends and I enjoyed our stay in Reykjavik. Thanks to Ulli for a seamless check-in/out experience at this beautiful and homey space. Our group of 5 guests comfortably fit and enjoyed the amenities including the dining area, bedrooms, laundry and parking space. It was very convenient to drive 8 mins away to town where all the restaurants and shopping were nearby. If you book the Sky Lagoon (great experience IMO), it's also a 12 min drive away.
Thank you Ulli for allowing us to stay at your wonderful space. We enjoyed our first time in Reyjkavik and would definitely be back!

We spent two days in Reykjavik at this property with our family of five (3 teens). We were able to experience the city by walking anywhere we needed to go (bus stops, downtown, grocery store, restaurants), all very convenient. Ulli was a gracious host and the apartment was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

Would stay here again.

Ulli's property is beautiful - very central but just outside the hustle and bustle of the inner city so quiet and spacious. The beds were very comfortable - and windows equipped with blackout coverings (which helps in June when there's 24 hours of daylight). The garden is such a great aspect of the space. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean, centrally located, and cozy. Our party of five adults were very comfortable. The bed were comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was very clean. The linens were fabulous.

We loved our short stay in Reykjavik and this location was great for shops, restaurants, a pool, and more. Parking was very easy and Ulli was very responsive to any questions we had!

We were a party of five and the apartment was a great fit for us. Comfortable and clean. Minutes away, walking distance, to the center of Reykjavík. Communication with the owner was easy. Overall a seamless process.

This was a really convenient place to stay for our two nights in Reykjavik. It was easy to get to, in the middle of everything.

Really flexible and communicative host! Very clean and close many bus stops. Great kitchen, this saved us a lot on food during our trip

Close to the action . Great location. Spacious rooms.

Loved this apartment, everything was clean, spacious, & quiet. Parking was available on the street & we had no issues with anything.

Great location - only 10-15 min walk to town and there is a large park nearby. We were 5 adults and all of us agree the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in the upper level which included free on-site parking. Host is very responsive. We would recommend this property!

Wonderful location just steps away from the noise and fun of downtown Reykjavik. Perfect for 4 people. Comfortable beds and seating in living space, though larger groups might need more space in the living room. This place is always fully booked, for good reason. Cleaning staff could do a better job on the shower area. Clearly a mildew problem that could be easily fixed. Otherwise five stars.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Easy walk to many sights and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Nice home in good location. Well decorated. Don’t rent unless you like living off the bedroom floors. And there isn’t much of that since the bedrooms are quite small. The off street parking space was handy.
4.8
We really liked how convenient the location was. Also great to have sleeping on one floor and living on another. The off street parking was a great addition too!!
We used this as home base for all of Iceland and it worked out very well

Beautifully decorated and appointed home. The manager was really good with communicating leading up to the stay so we felt very prepared. Five people with a lot of luggage fit comfortably. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay. Nice location.
We loved the large dining table, we were able to sit around it very comfortable. Whole place is comfy! Bed was amazing!

A great house in a perfect location to explore Reykjavik. We loved that it was close to a bus stop for tours. Owner was great with communication.
4.8
Property is nicely located to the downtown area. Lovely space but wished there was a larger couch as well as some blankets to warm up on the first floor. Nice experience and owner very responsive.
4.8
Extremely helpful and responsive owner. Very good location close to the sites and Reykjavik sites as well as your pick up locations. As others have noted the water in Reykjavik often has a sulfurous smell; this is the case just about everywhere. Only things for improvement at the property would be replacement of stair carpet and updating of living room furniture.

Very good accommodation and well located.

A wonderful place located just outside (short walk) to downtown. Very quiet area. Plenty of space for the 4 of us on the trip. Ulli was a very gracious host. Everything was a described in the listing. Would be more than happy to stay there again !

This is a very comfortable property in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of all the great sights of Reykjavik. It’s an easy walk to shops and restaurants as well as the harbor. The beds were very comfortable and there is off street parking.

Location, location, location. Not in the heart of the touristy area, but a quick walk to everything and easy access driving out of town.

Great location- property needs work
This property is a great size and close by to many of the sites in Reykjavik. I had to message the owner to ask for door codes before we got to the property. There were several areas in the house that need attention and repair: a huge stain on the sisal rug on the stair, large areas of wall that needed plaster and repair. The owner asked us to keep the windows cracked to help keep condensation off the windows. This seems very common in Iceland- we saw open windows everywhere in 40F temps. The bathroom was nice, but had such horrible mildew and mold that we coughed while using the bathroom. We ran the fan constantly and nothing helped. Bed pillows were totally flat and any extra pillows we could find were stained and had no linens. A few small upgrades and repairs and this place would be fantastic.

Charming home
Location is a bit older but well cared for. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots/pans, etc. Would ask that in the future, napkins or paper towels be provided. With only one dish towel, we didn’t have anything to use during meals. Small thing but didn’t create a challenge.
Otherwise charming home and owner was very responsive to any inquiries leading up to the trip.

Wonderful Stay
The property was clean, spacious and very accessible. The host was extremely responsive to any questions we had. We loved our stay!

The location is great and the owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Unfortunately, the house had a moldy odor that was overpowering in the bathroom. Also it said there was a washer/tumble dry. The washer worked great and someone had even left behind laundry soap, but there was no tumble dry that I could find on the machine.

Great location, nice accommodations!
Thank you for letting us stay at your home. We enjoyed the location very much. The home is clean and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

My US family and I stayed at this property for four nights. I have been to Iceland many times and have family that lives there. Because the size of our group, we needed to rent a house during this trip. The location to downtown was awesome and the apartment was quite spacious. The interior showed a nice update to what is an old home and decorated nicely. Two criticisms I might have is that the front of the building and the back garden needs quite a bit of maintenance. It is rather shabby and there is only one small closet for three bedrooms. With no other shelves or dresser drawer options, we had to live out of our suitcases. In the end, it suited our needs.
