Wasn’t the cleanest place we have visited .
Advertised as parking included however there was only 4 spots so we had to pay for parking at a car park. Loud from next door event place .. staff was amazing , location is great but didn’t live up to other reviews

Great staff, friendly, helpful. Perfect location. Breakfast selection was limited and always the same.

This is possibly my new favorite hotel! My room was amazing, the staff were all friendly and helpful, enjoyed the bar, but the best part was the spa in the basement!

My favorite hotel! Staff makes it excellent. Such a beautiful hotel in the heart of everything.

Very good hotel.

Super loud at night , rooms were not properly ventilated so I had to keep the windows open and people were partying until four in the morning every day.
4.4
the hotel and staff were great, but the music outside and then i found out there was a venue next door... blared until 3 am both nights. i used white noise and i could FEEL the music it was so loud. certainly that should have been in the notice because i needed good sleep with the active agenda i had...

Not clean, very noisy, bathroom floor is extremely slippery with the smooth tile on the floor, Very stuffy as no A/C available.

It was the perfect stay! We were supposed to do just one night, and as soon as we checking in, we said please book another night. The staff is incredible, all of them! Location is perfect. Parking was free and easy. The amenities are great. Their hospitality was impeccable, they made our stay even more pleasant!

This was a wonderful hotel, and I would recommend it to anybody staying in Reykjavik! The staff were so kind and polite, and the facilities were clean and relaxing. The location is perfect and walk able to many bars, shops, restaurants. We spent many days before the hotel in a camper van traveling and this was the perfect stop to end the trip for 2 nights.

The room was pretty spacious and clean. The hot tub in the basement was really good. The location is nice except getting pretty noisy on Saturday night.

Right from the moment of check in, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Luz, in particular, went out of her way to make my stay in Reykjavík memorable with her suggestions and help with bookings. The lobby was inviting and a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel had a great atmosphere.

Extraordinary Interior Design. Very well appointed. Great bar!

This is a great hotel that was close to most of the major sites. Great amenities. Our room had a superb view.

The hotel was located very close to all shops, restaurants and transportation. The staff was very friendly!

*Alert* property shares an entire building wall with a night club/dance. Though I like 90’s music, I’m partial to not hearing it at 1am through hotel wall, HVAC duct work and sink drains. Hotel staff were unable to assist at 1am. Wednesday night till Sunday is a problem.

Location is great, bus stop #6 just around the corner. Room is nice. Great design but not practical, especially for the shower.
The noise from the street is not too bad even during weekend.

Very clean, excellent location. It is easy to go around the city. Highly recommended..

I could not sleep for many hours due to a very loud music venue next door. They need to sound proof the rooms. Also our windows were bizarre. Temperature control poor. The sink is not functional it is located in the room itself with limited space.

You can’t sleep at these place, you can hear literally everything. If you want to rest do not stay here.

Beautiful hotel is central location, friendly staff who gave us great advice on restaurants. Would stay here again :-)

This is a beautifully designed hotel. The rooms are a good size and the bed is comfortable. The gym is well equipped and the hotel spa is a definite bonus, it had a steam room and hot tub which was very relaxing. I enjoyed my stay here very much. My only complaint is that all of the rooms have an open concept bathroom, so there are no doors in the bathroom area and showers. If you like privacy, it’s definitely not for you but it’s beautifully designed.

Other than expected city noise, it was an excellent hotel. Minor comments include dark hallways and shower and a bit too hot like many Iceland facilities though. Also getting an email prior to check-in prior regarding a major festival in the city, resulting in difficult paid parking, would have been appreciated.

Stunning room, stunning view and incredible staff . Across the street from bus pick up 6. In the heart of it all. Skip the breakfast at the hotel. Tons of choices within 2 blocks.

Great place, perfect location and even better management and staff. Thank you!

Elegant High concept design abd good art collection Ideal location

The hotel itself is interesting. Located on a corner and its not highly visable. But the overall location is perfect walking to everything! No coffee pot in the room, you need to arrange for one at a nominal fee. Didn't realize that until the morning. The staff was amazing. The room was clean. The neighbors were loud (which is not the hotels doing).

Pros and cons for this hotel. Cons: We were on front of hotel on 4th floor and on the weekend there was a lot of street noise and we could hear music from a club close by (all going on until early morning). The owner of the hotel and hotel staff were not overly friendly, but front desk was at least helpful (we had to go to Marriott Edition to meet one of our tours had 3 different staff greet us, offer to assist us, then just engage in friendly chit chat and we were not even staying there). Lastly our room was clean but had a modern minimal vibe, it was just not user friendly or cozy. Somehow just not convenient for trying to keep all our "travel stuff" organized. Mini frig temp was room temp even when temp turned low. You could not get close to the one bathroom mirror to put on makeup. Bathroom was completely open to bedrm and toilet had only frosted glass for walls and door (think echoing fish bowl).
Pros: The hotel was in a great location for the main shopping and restaurant area of Reykjavik. It was across from bus stop 6 where many tours pickup. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. They provided a converted (but we did bring our own).
We were traveling with another couple and decided over all the pros slightly out weighed the cons for us but for the cost of the room we expected a more luxurious or at least cozy room and would have liked staff to be friendly and more more accommodating considering they are in the hospitality industry.

Amazing! In the center of the city, modern and stylish, clean and comfort, just a bit noisy during the weekend.

Location was central and very convenient for bus pickups for tours and close to the old city.
Staff could not have been more helpful.
4.4
Very clean and modern. Great location too not far to walk to anywhere.
Lovely breakfast but we didn’t eat dinner there so can’t comment. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing hotel and really friendly, helpful staff. Modern and luxury feel throughout the hotel. Excellent location, close to bus stops 3 and 6 for excursions and transfers. In the heart of shops, restaurants and great little bakeries. Also close to the harbour for whale watching and northern lights boat trips. We loved the spa that we had to ourselves for no extra charge. Lovely to go to the big jacuzzi after being out in the cold. Perfect hotel for a short or long stay in Iceland!

Hotel 101 is amazing! They have the best concierge - Omar, he was super helpful and very friendly and personable!!
4.4
The staff here was incredibly rude. Construction outside was out of control, and the staffs reaction to it was startlling. Construction outside a hotel is beyond the hotels control, the behavior at the front desk should be closely examined by management.
