Two night stay
The house was clean and beautiful for our family . We only stayed two nights to ski at Stratton Mountain. There was a working fireplace and enough room to sleep our family . There were plenty of cookware to cook at home . Our one downfall was the hot tub was not working due to a broken part . We understood these things happen but specifically looked for this accommodation due to skiing in Vermont it would of been a nice touch to have . We had asked for somewhat of a refund due to this and were offered a credit for a future stay due to the owner felt we were undercharged at 700 a night due to it falling during February break . All in all a nice place to stay just bummed about the hot tub after skiing all day .

Absolute perfection
We could not have asked for a better house for our family ski trip. Everything was spotless, well stocked, and the perfect cozy, rustic setting. We will definitely be back!

We spent Thanksgiving at this beautiful cabin! The property is beautiful, very clean, cozy, warm, with a fully functioning kitchen! We cooked our entire Thanksgiving meal there! My family had a wonderful time! The kids loved the game room, the bunk beds, and the fireplace. We went on the hot tub and relaxed by the fire pit. The location is amazing. We will be back! We highly recommend this rental!

Knotty Bear Haus Review
The house and property were excellent and actually exceeded expectations upon arrival (bigger, prettier than the pictures suggest). My group did not even have to use the house to its fullest extent given the great weather during our trip, but this house certainly has enough space and amenities to keep a relatively large group happy if experiencing bad weather (e.g., big open main floor, downstairs TV room with pool table, outside deck and patio). Specifically, the fire pit and hot tub were awesome for at night, and the house’s location between Stratton and Mount Snow gave my group quick access to plenty of fun activities. Lastly, the owner, Sarah, was extremely responsive and helpful to any and all requests, which certainly added to our comfortability during the stay.....may have to look at this rental again for Labor Day weekend next year!

Lovely cabin in the woods
This is a comfortable cabin that is well designed for families, replete with a well-equipped game room. We were there in summer but I suspect it is especially nice in winter as there is a handsome fireplace at the center of the great room. Owners were very responsive.

Awesome place to stay while in Vt.
My wife and I stayed here over President's Day wknd (2020) with another couple that we occasionally vacation with and this home did not disappoint !!! EVERYTHING was as advertised and the home owner was a consummate professional throughout the whole process. Super easy check-in (we arrived at midnight) the house extremely clean, hot tub worked perfectly and a GREAT location. Literally minutes from any/everything that you would want to do while in Vt. We will DEFINITELY be returning for another long weekend !!!

True Vermont Experience
This was a beautiful house set in a very quiet neighborhood, but, convenient enough to Mount Snow and/or Stratton , without dealing with the crowded condo seen. The kitchen was well-equipped with a cute breakfast counter. The fireplace is the centerpiece of the home with an endless supply of firewood provided. In addition, fun game room on the bottom floor with a pool table and X-Box 360 for the kids. Of course, the hot tub and chiminea is a plus too. The owners are a pleasure to speak with and will answer all of your questions in a very prompt manner. Overall, this place is as beautiful as pictured with no disappointments. We hope to be back again.
