Lovely farm with beautiful views & activities on the farm but disappointing rooms for the price paid

We really enjoyed our time at the pool, the walk to the wine tasting & restaurant (so accessible!) and the views from our porch.

I was really surprised by the condition of the living spaces. Some of the dishes & cutlery weren’t washed properly. There was very little cooking equipment, outdated / old utensils, counter tops swelling in the kitchen which could lead to potential rotting & insect breeding, the decor (all red) is also super outdated, towels had an unpleasant smell, the lack of space to cook or use tiny stove top, the little spiderwebs in the corners of the walls / next to the bed & bathroom equipment that is old or rusty (toilet holder) left me feeling unhygienic. I was disappointed at the condition of the place for the price we paid.

Leuke ervaring!

Super aardig ontvangen, het interieur is helaas al wel wat verouderd, maar prima. Leuke ervaring om op een wijnboerderij te verblijven. We waren vrij om een rondje te lopen over het terrein en bij de verwerking te kijken.

Disappointed Customer

Nothing.....the place on the whole was disappointing, especially considering the cost per night.

I expected much more for the cost per night. The room was very cold. Furniture and bed was not at all what I expected. The bed was uncomfortable. Shower is very small and water pressure was low. The place was very isolated, the wife and I were the only occupants there. The garden and grass is not well kept. Milk supplied was too little, just enough for two cups of coffee. It would be great if you could supply more milk. There were no emergency lights for load shedding. The heater is so small, it barely heated the room. Parking for one motor vehicle only. No breakfast available at the restaurant.

Excellent Wine Farm Breakaway Weekend

Very nice and peaceful venue with excellent security and a nice free wine tasting from our guests.Thanks, Leonie, for allowing us to book out later today to fit our schedule, to end off and great weekend.

Great location, great staff, great wine and we'll be back

We got vouchers for free wine tasting. My Girlfriend and I did wine tasting after we checked out and it was great. Will definitely be back Also we asked about braaing. We went out for the day and when we go back we had our own braai waiting for us to use

Enjoyable 1 night stay

Wine tasting and Cattle Baron walking distance from room. Lovely view of mountains and city lights from stoep.

Well equipped, but tiny kitchen. Helpful staff on arrival.

Cottage #3 was not as advertised. Certainly did not deserve booking.com's 8.9 rating. Should be a low 7. Poor quality bed, which was not extra-wide (as advertised). No purpose built patio (like the other two cottages) - just a table and two chairs sitting on the edge of a large field! Would not stay here again.

The Location was perfect for my travel needs. so peaceful and the view was amazing. the staff here were excellent. Room cleaned spotless every day. the restaurant on site has excellent food and excellent staff as well. I’ll be going back there for sure.

Excellent hideaway in beautiful surroundings

Excellent welcome at the gate and at the cottage. Leonie was super helpful throughout our stay. Comfortable and safe surroundings on a beautiful working wine farm. And we received wine tasting vouchers, which was brilliant.

Peace and quiet. Cleanliness. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Pool area beautiful. Excellent hosts

Table outdoor needs shade. Guests in neighbouring unit smoked cigars that made it impossible to sit outdoors

Wonderfull place with an amazing vieuw. Wine tasting was a great experience and diner was also very good. I recommend their steak. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. I would visit this place again.

A pleasant farm stay

It was close to the wedding we were attending. A peaceful farm atmosphere. The unit was spacious.

The noisy fridge. No hot water to basins in bathroom.
