Nicely decorated, well equipped apartment, perfect for a family skiing vacation.

Clean and cosy apartment within 5 minutes drive from two different ski resorts. Ski bus also stops about 200m away. The apartment is nicely decorated and well equipped. The hosts were very welcoming. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

There is a dishwasher in the kitchen, which is great, but we missed simple sponge and washing up liquid for things that cannot go into a dishwasher or you just want to quickly wash up in your hand.

So much more quaint than I expected. very clean. loved the smell of the pine. plenty of room to spread out for a family of 6.

Take away the gas issue and we were very pleased with the house.

Had a couple MINOR issues upon checking in. The toaster was broken and did not work properly. The front porch swing was coming apart and the rear slats were falling out. Both of these were handled by the rental office in a prompt manor. Biggest issue we had was the 2nd or 3rd night. We got back to the cabin late night as the temperature outside was dropping. The heat pump had either just kicked on or off. As I approached the steps to go in all I could smell was natural gas. I checked the house and did not smell any but went outside and the leak was not dissipating. I called the rental office and got their after hours recording which gave me another number for after hours emergencies. That number gave me a recording saying that number was unavailable. With no other options I had to call 911. They came and found that the raw gas smell was coming from the exhaust on the heat pump. They said it is normal for the gas smell when the unit kicks on. I am a Captain in a large city Fire Department and deal with gas appliances almost weekly. I have never come across an appliance that is normal to exhaust raw unburned gas out of the exhaust. The FD said that is a common problem in that area and the rental office said it is perfectly normal. I do not believe it is. The gas smell is strong around that end of the house and with the porch steps 2 feet away from the heat pump you can not miss it. Not believing that a cigarette could light off gas but I would not recommend people smoking on the front porch when the heat pump kicks on. In addition the heat pump is right next to where people park their cars. Again the gas/air mixture would have to be just right but I would think a hot exhaust could light off the gas. Only other issue came with the weather. We had booked and paid for the house until Saturday the 12th. The forecast for the 12th included 3-7" of snow.
