Wifi through loadshedding (little converter) and the area... At night time it's quiet since it's on a farm... Comfy bed
Not ready on time even I did show on time... Loadshedding... The main house (the owner) has solar and electricity all the time but costumers don't have water nor electricity through loadshedding... A bit weired... A little noisy during the day... Drawers very dirty plus the appartment is not very well equipped and not very well maintained

lovely interior and attention to detail. free Tea, coffee, cookies and sherry very appreciated. lots of animals running around
no water during Loadshedding and generally rooms pretty cold. also, gate bell not working and number on board/gate outdated, therefore I was at the gate for almost 30min before I managed to get in

The little extras you don’t often get at bnbs. They provided fresh milk in the fridge, chocolates on the pillows, water bottle in case of loadshedding (as the pumps don’t work during loadshedding), soaps in the bathroom and salt and pepper.
The communication could be better. I had asked questions at the time of booking, which weren’t answered, only standard automated responses were received. Which resulted in us having to pay extra on the day, as the prices slightly ahead of time were better than what was offered on the day.

Goof value and close to the airport. Well equipped room
Lack of water during loadshedding due to electrical punps is unfortunate

capmness
Load-shedding and no water at all during that period.

The outside of the property is lovely and the animals were a pleasure.
There was no shower, and the bath and toilet are in the bedroom itself with no partitioning for privacy whatsoever. The toilet and bath are on carpet which cannot be hygienic. The property needs maintaining and upkeep.

The cottage was spacious and clean and the bed was comforable. Elliott was very helpful and responsive.
Getting through the security gate was not intuitive. Poor signage made it difficult to know where to check in. The area around the cottage could have been tidier. Lack of a backup power supply meant we had no running water, no toilet flushing capability and no lights during loadshedding. This left us feeling very vulnerable.

The view was spectacular and the host had genuine love..the place is peaceful even for young people,
It's a bit far from town and sometimes to other people it may be a no no , and also no backup water when there is loadshedding but totally understandable

The staff were pleasant and the rooms are large, well furnished and clean. Connectivity was good.
There is no breakfast on offer, as advertised. The nearest breakfast restaurant is quite far away. I believe they should change there advertising accordingly.
Arrival was difficult with the phone not being answered. I waited outside the gate for 35 minutes to get in.
I was given a room in the ceiling of the main house. On arrival the room was excessively hot and the staff told me there was a working air conditioner to compensate for this. I was also told that the TV did not work but would be repaired the next day. The air conditioner however did not work and the room temperature throughout the night did not drop below 38 deg.C making it impossible to sleep at all. The shower has only cold water but that was not a problem.
The next day I phoned a few times to advise them to change my room but my calls were unanswered. I had to drive back to the reception to speak to someone who then put me in a bungalow type room which was much cooler. In this room the TV did work, provided you used the remote control within 1 meter of the TV. I suspect the batteries in the remote were flat. In this room there was warm water but when the power failed, which happened often, the pump stopped working and hence there was no hot or cold water. Not good if you happen to be in the shower at that time.
I believe the owner should concentrate on getting the basics right. They could then have a very pleasant offering.
